Her advice on how to best appendix carry a handgun:
- She recommends TWO tank-tops underneath a shirt. Maybe she doesn’t sweat, but I’d die if I had 3 layers of clothing on in summer. Sounds like a pain in the ass to worry about it when drawing the gun too.
- Wear a shirt with a pattern on it to break-up the shape of the gun. Fair enough, although someone needs to tell that family a better place to buy t-shirts *cough* ENDO Apparel *cough*
- Tuck the handle of the gun into your waistband. She claims it only adds 0.5 seconds to her draw. Maybe, but I don’t know if that’s such a great idea under stress, especially with 3 layers worth of shirts on.
Surprisingly enough at the time of writing this Yeager still has comments enabled. So he can’t take the heat in his own video comments, but will let people troll his daughter? Nice haha.
I could be wrong but I think he mentioned before that Kayla was his step daughter, which would explain why she didn’t get his token shoulder roll.

What did I just see?
This little misadventure seems like a bad idea, even by buck Yeager (thumb on the slide to push the pistol back into battery) standards.
I conceal a G23 w/ a Viridian C5L weapon mounted light and laser appendix carry almost every day. As a matter of fact I just took mine off about 5 minutes ago. When I will be wearing it for a long period of time, I DO find it more comfortable to wear 1 undershirt, I tuck it into my boxer briefs. Secondly, because of my work shirt it is a plain red no pattern t shirt, it does an alright job of hiding it even tucked in. Keep in mind I am much smaller than her, but I am a stocky 5’9″ 200lbs. Tucking the but in is NOT ideal for me. If interferes with my sitting down and bending over. On my off time from work, I do like to wear untucked pattern printed shirts. Especially button ups, like short sleeve polo drakes. I frequently find myself ignoring all of these tips and simply clipping my pistol into my MIC, sticking it in my Pants/shorts with no undershirt, sometimes no underwear, and just wearing a solid color t shirt over the top of it. It’s not the best but it works and I don’t have many qualms with doing it that way.
I hope there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism since this is put up as a serious how to video.
It looks like her pistol is not secure, like it can flop around easily when moving even when the butt (no pun intended) is tucked in. Maybe ok for casual carry like going to the 7-11 for a Big Gulp, but like trying to get across a Chicago street an operator might see their pistol cross the road in front of them and wish for a more secure Kydex holster.
Using prints to cover bulges is nothing new, I’ve been wearing plaid corduroys to hide my bulge everyday for years, but still good advice. I question wearing anything that has words like “tactical” printed on it while operating concealed.
I haven’t received youtube approval yet but when wearing Sponge Bob boxers I conceal a full size 1911 behind my ballsack. In my younger years and on those occasions I’m wearing my Square Pants briefs I have to resort to a sub compact 1911 with lazer grips. Spare magazines have been a problem but I’m checking into the Umana method.

also, by tucking it in to the waistband, without a holster, what stops it from falling down your pants leg when walking up to the McDonalds counter?
