Sonny Puzikas Not Admitting To Facebook He Shot His Instructor

What a nice guy, rallying people to donate money to help a colleague of his that was shot.  Oh wait…

(Source)

Oh wait… Sonny Puzikas was the one who shot him.  *eye roll*  Why is he not owning up to this?  Also a shooting ACCIDENT?  Uh… completely disregarding safety is considered negligence the last time I checked.

I’m assuming there were plenty of comments that were deleted because only one has a vague reference to Sonny doing the shooting.

Adolf N Goose – hopefully you’re the dominant contributor? (Which got 5 thumbs up haha)

If you aren’t up to speed on the whole high speed low drag debacle catch up on this previous post.

Thoughts?

  1. You’re right Mike, it was negligence, not an accident. Jackasses.

  2. What a responsibility-dodging tool, otherwise known as “coward”. Man up and take ownership of what you did, Sonny, and at least you will be able to recover that much in this wholly-comprised-of-fail charlie foxtrot you created.

  3. ya i commented on his stat and it was deleted.

geezus christ. i hope the guy makes it out without any problems, but yeah… gut shot = short bowel..

i hope this guy gets what he deserves.

  5. I thought of adding, well why dont you pay for it all seeing as you shot him but i figured it would get deleted.

  6. He’s trying this stuff in hopes he doesn’t have to pay for all of it in a lawsuit. That’s really where the accident versus negligent comes in. Jackass move. My advice to the victim is if Sonny doesn’t want to fess up and make it good, see a lawyer and make him pay through the nose. Don’t let this guy get away with not admiting he was wrong and getting others to pay for his mistake.

This. Sonny should not retire because he’s going to need a lot of cash to pay for his error.

  7. He’s probably re-wording his involvement at his lawyer’s advice, and fund raising at his lawyer’s advice. If he asks for money after saying “hey guys, i shot my instructor friend three times in total gross negligence and want your help to pay the bills because I’m an idiot…” then he wouldn’t get much help.

    1. I can bet long money that, after he told his lawyer the story, the first words out of the lawyer’s mouth were along the lines of “STFU and don’t admit to or apologize for ANYTHING!” .

    2. Definitely lawyered wording. You aren’t liable to pay for an accident. You are liable for your negligent behavior. The ‘safe” way to present what happened is just to say “accident” just in case you end up in court.

  8. An idea floated across my transom while talking about range safety the other day (this incident came up)…finally got a chance to sit down with Photoshop and bring it to life!

  9. I didn’t even know Russians practiced range safety. I guess we all can be thankful he wasn’t doing his drill with an AK.
