Mass shootings would be over just as quickly as they started if people started fighting back. Like MrColionNoir mentioned, most of those losers kill themselves at the first sign of resistance anyway… perfect, no burden on the jails and legal system if they are given a reason to increase the lead in their diet early.

I’ve never understood that logic either. “If someone had shot back, it would have made things worse.” Really, so it would’ve been worse if a cop had been there?
The inevitable response to that is “oh, but the police are sooo highly trained”, which, from what I’ve heard, is generally a misconception (correct me if I’m wrong)
Right, but at that point, they’ve admitted that there are circumstances in which an armed response is good. With your foot in the door now, you just gradually open it. “Okay, how about off duty cops? What about retired police? Current military personnel? Veterans? Firearms instructors?” and so on.

Best video you’ve done yet. The problem with trying to have an intelligent discussion with the ant-gunners is that they don’t want guns anywhere but with police and military. This is at the root of their thinking to cover their real intention they go with emotional arguments that are difficult to counter. This is why using mechanical gun facts or pro-gun statistics doesn’t get you far, only the elimination of guns will satisfy them.
For the few anti’s we have a chance to reach we have to come up with counters to their often irrational emotional points. I don’t claim to have the answer, I think it helps to have people who survived violence because of their firearms. I also think we need to explore the civil rights angle more than we have.
