Quietener For Your Loudener

Weapon Outfitters has the $67 fix for your SBR.  I wonder if they sell the rest of the accessory kit?

The quietener appears to only work with AAC mounts.

I liked loud guns at first, but I found when I used to shoot for hours at a time I could feel it in my sinuses.  Given the option, I’d much rather shoot suppressed.

Thoughts?

  1. why not just use the suppressor, lol?

kidding, neat idea. wording at first made it sound like it “muffled the report of the firearm” but a keen observer (i e someone who isnt half asleep like me) would notice its similar to the troy claymore brake.

pretty cool. it will still make it ring like a mofo though.

  4. I wonder if this changes how effective a brake would be?

    1. And a set screw? Really? They couldnt make this with a ratchet?

      1. Go call up AAC and ask them for permission to use their mount on YOUR product, I want to see what they say ;)

See, AAC actually DID make something very very similar to this, in some very limited quantities, so I doubt they’d be particularly forthcoming in helping someone else get money for it….

Also, I would bet that the diameter of the baffle is specifically large enough that the brake has enough time/room to do it’s job.

        1. That’s a rebar cutter.

  5. Think of it as a cheaper (and removable) alternatrive to the Noveske KX3. You use this when you’re not running a can.

if it works good, and if it is legal in ban states like mine (CA) then this would sell like hot cakes.
