Journalist Punks Bloomberg With Gun Control Question

New York City mayor Bloomberg descended from his ivory tower to mingle with the peasants at a mayors conference in D.C., then this happened:

LOL *slow clap* —-> “In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?”

Bloomberg’s response:  “Uh, you, we’ll get right back to you.”

The “would you like a sip of my soda?” line was pure gold too.

Side note, that security needs to attend a course on proper necktie length.

Michael-BloombergLike damn, cut a billionaire some slack!  A ~25 x Billionaire actually… mo’ money mo’ problems I guess.  I’d roll with a crew of suits, armed to the teeth if I was caked up like that too…. what I wouldn’t do is shit on peoples rights though.   My “assault weapons” would also make the proper sound, which I prefer not to be a loser and try to type.  They definitely wouldn’t go BrrrrrrrBrrrrBrrrrrp.

Thoughts?

I seriously hope you guys don’t question the commands of your feudal lord, he might send his mercenaries to arrest you.

“Thoughts?”

On Bloomberg?

Sorry, I don’t have enough in my bank account to cover what I would owe to the ‘swear jar.’

Bloomberg isn’t a liberal or a democrat, he’s an authoritarian bag of left-over douche-sauce.

This guys needs to leave New York and take Gov. Cuomo (Douche who pushed the dumb New York Bans a couple weeks ago) with him. The state is mostly suburban / rural en-yet these billion dollar fuck faces who lives in a safe city think they can determine how us middle class live north of Manhattan.

I’d love to open carry a minigun on my back. Think of how awesome that would be

You know they toyed with a .223 minigun at one time? It even got an XM name (although I don’t remember the number.

Gating guns are real prone to jams, and other types of malfunctions; that why you don’t see them in use anywhere but in the air.

Since the action is driven by an electric or hydraulic motor, independent of the quality of the ammunition, you would think it would be more reliable than a gas operated action.

The reason they’re usually mounted on vehicles is more likely to be the fact that they need a heavy drive system which is impractical for unmounted carry.

A certain E. C. Neal had some interesting thoughts on the matter: http://www.google.com/patents?id=3DhMAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q&f=false

Quote from the review: “However, the recoil impulse is said to be around 99 lbs on average, with peak recoil being over 220 lbs, so you might look cool but would likely be incontinent later in life from all the shaking this thing would do to you.”

I’m dissapointed with the reporters inability to stand up to the jack-booted NYPD thug and told him, in no uncertain terms, STFU.

Should have asked him if he also discriminates against short bodyguards!

How f-ing cheap is this guy. If I was worth 25+ billions I’d have retired Seal Team 666 protecting me. What’s he got, a bunch of N-y-p/ d superstars with basic training in diplo security who would have to be insane to want to catch a bullet for this guy. Most of them look under qualified to guard a Target on the night shift. Is his backup team the Team America World Police?

Interesting. NYPD has no lawful authority, much less permission to carry firearms in DC, or anywhere outside of New York State. Mattera should file a 42 USC 1983 lawsuit against Bloomberg and those officers. There is a lot of liability there.

The New York Pd cops do have provision authority when operating in an official capacity as authorized LE agent within the narrow scope of their duties. As long as local LE is notified and agrees. Guard Bloomers, ok. Chase a citizen down the street to stop and detain, no go.
