I can’t believe I never considered laser engraving as a way to step my holster game up. I’ve always been big into tonal color combos. That engraving appears to just matte the ABS’s regular shiny finish.
I wonder how many holster company biters are going to come out of the woodwork now and jack Jesse’s steez? The apparatus gets blessed, and suckas get put to rest.

From what I could understand of this article, this is for showing off your holster. That’s silly. No one else knows that I have a holster…..or a gun.

How about using some formica glue or other such noxious and glorious agent to laminate on some actual plaid? Or denim? Or khaki? Or camo…..

Before any of you try this, be aware that proper ventilation and/or fume extraction is important when lasering ABS. It contains polystyrene which when burned or lasered creates hydrochloric gas and is extremely poisonous. I build and sell laser systems and had a customer who just extracted the fumes through the roof with a fan. A few months later, he had a pile of dead birds on his roof. You can obviously laser ABS, just be smart and not dead about it.
