Nike Removes Unfortunate Gun Related Oscar Pistorius Ad

Unfortunate because he killed his girlfriend :/

Nike-Oscar-Pistorius-Ad

If you had not heard of him before, Oscar Pistorius is apparently a South African guy famous for being a double below-knee amputee who won a lot of Paralympic medals for running.  To summarize he shot his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp on Valentines day.  He was charged with murder, and of course now the incident is being used as a model for the “guns are too dangerous to have in the home” argument *eye roll*

Thoughts?

  1. Nah, dude. This guy ran in the Olympics Olympics. Like against people with feet.

  2. murders and their excuses
It can’t be his fault, it must be something else’s fault.

The dude is a scum bag who killed his girl. dosn’t matter why. Straight to the gas chamber I say.

  3. South African police have released a further statement saying that they also discovered a bloodied cricket bat at Pistorius’s home. Speculation is now that the final blow was with the bat, not his firearm. Apparently, the girlfriend’s skull was crushed. I expect all cricket bats to be made illegal tomorrow.

Too dangerous to leave in the house? Yeah in South Africa it is too dangerous NOT to have a gun.

He shot her by mistake and then tried to revive her with a cricket bat.

  6. Professional athletes are too dangerous to have in the home, and should be locked up at the sporting clubs until they’re needed for use. In addition, there should be a world-wide consolidated registry of athletes, and they shouldn’t be allowed across county lines without permission from the home county and destination county’s sheriffs.

  7. No one really needs to play sports, and there’s no way the Founders could have foreseen any of this when the Constitution was written. Amateur Sports should be outlawed, and all sports entertainment should strictly be left to the highly regulated professionals.
