Revealed: The Lies And LOLs About The NRA And Gun Companies

Yawn… bricks were shit over this during the last few days, so I figure I might as well post it:

I will say that redhead is relevant to my interests, but she becomes incredibly less attractive at around the 1 minute mark.  Very Christina Hendricks looking…

NRA-LogoBasically this video contains mostly bullshit “facts”.  I don’t feel like wasting any pixels or time breaking it down… but watch it for some laughs.

What a bunch of goof actors.

Techgnome March 19, 2013 at 05:12 am

Oh dear goodness. These people are so self-righteous it’s almost physically painful to watch. People like this obviously don’t realize that if the ruling political class get their way with gun ownership that they’ll be emboldened and empowered to do whatever the heck they want with any other citizen’s rights. There’s a very good reason they’re trying to remove the second amendment first. Will these useful idiots ever realize that our current .gov holds the entire constitution in contempt? Good luck trying to defend your own freedoms when your words fall on deaf ears.

William March 19, 2013 at 05:13 am

I like how they brought up Civil Suits against gun manufacturers. Well thats a “Duh” statement. Look at it as part of the Auto Industry. Its Immune to Civil Suits as well, if it wasn’t anytime there was an accident, or an act of violence comitted with a vehicle, then it would fall back to the auto industry because they made the car. Same with the gun industry, it shouldn’t be held liable for any damages that the misuse or proper use of its firearms causes.

William March 19, 2013 at 05:16 am

Not to mention the terms “Vast Majority” or “Most Americans” when talking about wanting Bans on this stuff. And don’t overlook the fact they are spouting the Mass Media definition of “Assault Weapons” instead of the Literal, Ballistic definition. And getting butthurt about the NRA giving away money? its a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. Meaning its not allowed to gain capital, so it HAS to give that money away, or else it loses its “Non Profit” status.

dave w March 19, 2013 at 08:09 am

i got about 10 seconds in, then reported it for hate speech, lol

Jackal March 19, 2013 at 08:16 am

I was about 3 minutes in before my wallet came out and I compulsively renewed my NRA membership which expired in 2008.

These people do not respect anyone’s right to own guns or support hunters, sportsmen, or self defense.
I lost it when she went on about how she wept for days after the Newtown massacre and said something needs to be done.
That seems to be the lowest common denominator of any BS gun control argument- something has to be done.

M March 19, 2013 at 09:36 pm

I keep renewing my NRA membership because I like their lawyers. They have been very instrumental in rolling back the anti-gun craziness that plagued us for decades.

But I can’t stand Wayne LaPierre. I wish that they wouldn’t let him in front of a microphone. I understand that he’s good at twisting politicians arms though, so maybe he can stay in that role. I’d jump up and down and spit nickels if they could resurrect Charlton Heston for spokesman.

Mac March 19, 2013 at 11:04 pm

I agree with you, sir. I’m a life member but LaPierre just baffles me. That dude cannot open his mouth without making me cringe. The tone he takes just invariably polarizes the issue.

russe11m March 19, 2013 at 08:46 am

I love that they have disabled comments for the video. Tells you that they are afraid of people coming to correct them.

Heath March 19, 2013 at 09:15 am

They don’t want anyone to point out the lies.

RWC March 20, 2013 at 01:51 pm

That is their MO.

Heath March 19, 2013 at 09:16 am

They say that Midway USA manufacturers AR magazines … since when? I thought they only sold them and didn’t realize they were making them yet.

BBJones March 19, 2013 at 12:35 pm

Their misinformation makes them laughable. Midway is such a big donor because they have an option when you checkout on web orders to round up for the NRA. Guess what? people who shop at Midway like the NRA.

Lance March 19, 2013 at 10:19 am

There was no AR used at Newtown.

BBJones March 19, 2013 at 12:36 pm

Can’t wait for the official FBI report to be made public. I think you are correct, but will be great to have proof and show how stupid this whole AWB thing is.

BBJones March 19, 2013 at 12:39 pm

I should say that the premise of the AWB is not based on fact. The AWB is stupid for many other reasons.

dave w March 19, 2013 at 06:24 pm

wasnt it a bushwacker and a sig sour in one report?>

Lance March 19, 2013 at 10:21 am

Comments disabled. Trolololol

dgdimick March 19, 2013 at 10:59 am

Um, I think I would have watched it longer if she had worn a pink sweater, and a bunny hat – “No one is talking about taking your guns”, sure tell that to the Vets that seek help at the VA, or people living in CA

PPGMD March 19, 2013 at 12:15 pm

“No one is talking about taking your guns.”

Actually they are, most of the current AWB being proposed grandfather in currently owned “assault weapons” but they prohibit ALL TRANSFERS of grandfathered weapons. So you own that “assault weapon” until your death, and when you die it has to be turned over to the police for destruction, or sold out of state in the case of state level bans.

dgdimick March 19, 2013 at 12:32 pm

PPGMD – Well stated

James Patrick March 19, 2013 at 12:43 pm
Marcus March 19, 2013 at 12:49 pm

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never liked that guy.

James Patrick March 19, 2013 at 02:10 pm

He seems like an honest guy compared to a lot of the other stuff out there. At least he cites all of his sources.

032125 March 19, 2013 at 05:28 pm

He’s not exactly Mr Personality, but he’s head and shoulders above other bloggers for quality of content.

Bender226 March 19, 2013 at 12:43 pm

Well I wasn’t planning on spending $300 today, and there are a lot of things I don’t like about the NRA, but thanks to this video I finally bought the lifetime membership out of spite for these assholes. While the whole video was complete garbage, I think the part about midway pissed me off the most where they painted them as an evil high cap. magazine manufacturer that gives tons of money to the NRA, where in reality they are an enormous sporting goods retailer and those NRA donations come from customers choosing to round up their orders to the next dollar. I guess they aren’t a big fan of the first amendment either since they don’t want to hear any rebuttals, comments, or even if you like the video. Big surprise…

Brian C March 19, 2013 at 12:57 pm

They must have seen NRA’s new commentator, Mr Colion Noir.

….soooo, let’s insert token black guy in our video. *facepalm*

Aaargo Jay March 19, 2013 at 01:13 pm

I must get my hands on some of those “Midway USA Magazines”!!! They must be really good because I can’t find any anywhere!!! I didn’t even know they made magazines…. {blank stare} And let’s get it straight… Midway USA makes contributions to the NRA, yes. BUT… The funds come from CITIZENS who donate TO the NRA THROUGH Midway USA. So I guess I should stop donating to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation because McDonald’s take collections at their restaurants. McDonald’s food contributes to more dangerous things than the NRA could ever be… Like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc… More Anti Second Amendment twaddle!!! I don’t care who you get to sell it to me and how they look, you can’t put sugar on a turd and call it candy, it’s just a sweet piece of shit!!! (Check for my next video about “selling candy” to responsible gun owners) Stay safe and stay the course!! Aaargo Jay out!!!

I flagged it on youtube:

“Issue reported:
Hateful or abusive content > Bullying”

Poppy March 19, 2013 at 05:29 pm

False Flagging? Not cool man, not cool.

hnl.flyboy March 20, 2013 at 05:39 pm

fuck ’em.

Sam March 19, 2013 at 02:25 pm

Wonder why ratings and comments are disabled on this video. Maybe because people DON’T majorly agree?

dgdimick March 19, 2013 at 03:10 pm

Normally I don’t double post, however, does anyone else think that the Chalkboard in the background look like the ones Glen Beck uses?

It would have been nice, if they allowed comments to this video, this is one of the few ways we are going to see a meaningful conversation on the 2nd amendment, however, if you’re going to “talk crazy” you have a hard time defending what you say.

Heath March 19, 2013 at 03:34 pm

I too immediately thought of Glenn when I saw it.

MrMaigo March 19, 2013 at 03:42 pm

“NRA says they’ll take your guns” “You shouldn’t have these guns!” “People are buying more guns” Fuck you, we WANT these guns
“NRA does fear mongering” “Terrorists can get guns!” Ack! I’m scared!
“NRA is payed for by gun manufacturers” “NRA gets $200m a year” “$39m from manufacturers” Only 20%? Meh
“NRA is a super duper lobbyist” “$20 over the last 20 years” Tobacco lobby does $15m a year, the Oil lobby paid more than $50m just to get people elected in one year.
“30k gun deaths a year” 19k are suicides.
“NRA are fear mongering meanies” “You should be afraid of them” I’m even more scared now!
“I’m a mother” “Children have died” “I’m sad!” Then adopt an African kid

Kyle March 19, 2013 at 04:36 pm

Of course they block any commenting and rating, when they do that it is like they don’t want you to think and take their B.S. and what gets me is oh “we don’t want to ban firearms or confiscate them” but we don’t want you to have ar-15s.

Seb March 19, 2013 at 04:42 pm

I flagged that shit. These people make me sick

Cuban Pete March 19, 2013 at 09:08 pm

Well the only thing truthful in that video is that the drapes and the rug are a match. In the meantime, I just re-upped my NRA membership for 2 more years.

Karina March 19, 2013 at 09:41 pm

If the issue is public safety… Then why doesn’t the government and all those lobbies save themselves further embarrassment, and start funding teaching classes about gun safety and proper marksmanship techniques and discipline?

I always said it and I will always say it again, what we want isn’t just “more guns”, it’s “more trained and informed people”… But of course the govt doesn’t want that. It wants scared sheep, it’s easier to guide to the slaughterhouse, mmhm?

frank rizzo March 19, 2013 at 11:08 pm

*Blood Boiling* At the end of the clip the Scrunt says “what more could we have done to prevent New Town?”

That Lanza fucker had a thorough 7-foot-long, 4-foot-wide spreadsheet with names, body counts and weapons from previous mass murders and even attempted killings. ‘It sounded like a doctoral thesis, that was the quality of the research. “They don’t believe this was just a spreadsheet. They believe it was a score sheet,” he continued. “This was the work of a video gamer, and that it was his intent to put his own name at the very top of that list. They believe that he picked an elementary school because he felt it was a point of least resistance, where he could rack up the greatest number of kills. That’s what (the Connecticut police) believe. “The fascination (Lanza) had with this subject matter, the complete and total concentration. There really was no other subject matter inside his head. Just this: Kill, kill, kill.” according to Mike Lupica’s report.

He knocked off his mom, and took her weapons. Nothing more could have been done to prevent this.

vick March 20, 2013 at 02:49 am

I have been waiting months for my NRA membership to be processed, the rep said they have been overwhelmed with new members. I flagged the vid for infringing on my rights, that’s an odd option to have.

No One March 20, 2013 at 06:14 am

Do you remember when people used to use facts to back up statements?

Ya, me neither, its been so long!

hnl.flyboy March 20, 2013 at 05:40 pm

Well bend me over backwards and fuck me sideways…I didn’t know the NRA was so terrible!

Late New Years resolution:
• Upgrade membership status in the NRA to Patron Life Member
• Acquire Life Membership into the Hawaii Rifle Association
• Give more money to SAF, GOA, HDF, NRA-ILA, and HCR-PAC

Karina March 21, 2013 at 06:37 am

I don’t know how popular or well-liked FTF is, but here is a good way to show where I stand on the issue:

By the way, I’m on the lower right corner.
