Buck Yeager Gets His Carry Permit Back – Troll Successful

And that’s that:

Says he didn’t give two shits that it was taken away in the first place because it really made no difference.  He verified he could carry anyway under LEOSA.  Reads a statement… thanks supporters.

James-Yeager-Angel-Approved

Not knowing much about “the law” I’m still really surprised you can say something like “I’M GOING TO START KILLING PEOPLE” in a way that can’t be taken out of context… and then LOL about how you trolled everyone a while later because nothing at all happened to you.  Oh the things I have learned from being on the internet… Pretty epic guerilla marketing move in the end Yeager… bravo sir.

The way he said “Tennessee Carry Permit”, I ran to Urban Dictionary to see if there was some hidden meaning. Once a dullard, always a dollar.

  3. Now he’s ready to “start killing people”

We should start taking bets on how long it is before he explodes or goes full Yeager. Any takers? I give it one month before he explodes about his haters, or he makes another troll video like his “1911s Suck” video. After all that is how he got famous. Since he seems to be running out of ideas, I’ll throw one out there he should make a “Revolvers suck” video, if that doesn’t do it I’m sure the video of his grandson firing his first shot should do the trick. I’m starting to believe that Yeager may be the highest degree master troll. Either that or he is a complete delusional narcissist, whose biggest fan is himself.

Let him have his carry permit, he’s not the only idiot running around with one.

But for Gods sakes… Stop letting this arrogant hothead run a firearms training facility…

  6. Not for nothing but his online “entertainment” persona is just that, he can write it off as an act for his “show”.

The guy is a total ass, but what he did wasn’t illegal. He didn’t make a specific threat AFAIK, and thought crime is still hard to prove in court. (unless you are the alphabet fed agency of the day)

Doesn’t need to be a crime to have Tenn. take his carry permit. As JY said CC in Tenn. is a privilege not a right. They were not putting him in jail or taking his property.

He keeps saying “I don’t blame Tennessee”. I be he’s moving.

Well, being a loser doesn’t become OK just because you decide you’re going to call it “trolling” or “marketing.” He’s still a sad attention whore, and training with him is still a foolish risk to take. No doubt people will continue to do it, but that doesn’t improve the smell any.

    “Marketing move” ??

If anything, I would’ve thought his insane rant damaged his business, not helped it.

There’s no way you can make the 1st Amendment relevant in this case. It doesn’t protect threats of harm, and even if he had engaged in protected speech instead of threatening to murder people (again) the 1st Amendment doesn’t protect a speaker from being called out as an idiot or a bad guy because of his speech. It’s not a magic consequence-repelling force-field.

Again, if you threaten to murder people over Youtube comments, you are responsible for the stupidity that ensues.
If you threaten to murder people over politics, you are responsible for those words, too.
If you engage in stupid and dangerous training techniques, and brag about them on the internet as if they were to your credit, you are responsible for any subsequent loss of business.*
And if you train with a dumbass who deliberately shoots with people downrange in his target area and threatens to murder people, on the day you’re called on to justify your own judgment in using deadly force, you will be responsible for doing so. They’re not going to drag Yeager in and make him take your place in jail, nor is anyone going to make him pay the civil judgment you earn by stammering on the witness stand about why you passed up Thunder Ranch to go train with the crazy guy from Youtube.

*May not be valid in all universes. Assumes a sane and logical world in which people avoid training with internet weirdos obsessed with murdering their critics, rather than flocking to them.
