GTFO With Your Low Speed High Drag Rubber Glock Cover

LMAO…  I wish this were just a prototype trollcessory:

Low-Speed-High-Drag-Rubber-Glock-Cover

The TacticSkin Slide Cover is an Unprecedented Revolutionary Upgrade for Your Glock Handgun.

Providing You with the Ability to Customize your Glock slide Visibility while Allowing Enhanced Tactical Performance and Versatility.

(Fab Defense – Source)

Fab-Fucked

LOL “unprecedented revolutionary upgrade”…. “Allowing Enhanced Tactical Performance and Versatility”… oh god I’m dying over here LOLOL.

Gaston Glock is alive and kicking… but if he ever sees this I’m sure he will die, roll over in his grave, then resurrect and burn FAB Defense to the ground.

If you have a shooting buddy who buys one of these, I think it’s time for an ultimatum “Me or the tactical derp cover, your choice.”.  Who needs friends who think this is a good idea anyway?

The price?  It doesn’t say, but who really cares? Even if they were giving them away, the space it would take up in my garbage can is worth too much.

Thoughts?

I’m sure it would be hilarious.

Half of the sights are blocked out by that thing. They could have at least marketed it as a product that helps provide more leverage to rack the slide for those with weak hands or something.

OK, so your new holster doesn’t have to be custom. Still has to be new, as in have to purchase something new to go with your something new.

Honestly, they should have just sold them as covers to signify that you have practice/non lethal rounds in them. That would have been a better business plan

A) gangstas can get these in gang colors!
B) Costa said this works because it pulls the slide away from the barrel a little to enhance lead flow, a lot like the C()ck Tape Costa runs.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a really low cost, low profile, high-traction adhesive material which you could put on your slide to enhance the grip? We could call it “Grip Tape” and sell it everywhere.

These were designed just to allow an overseas LE agency to ID friend or foe in force-on-force training, and to indicate a pistol loaded with training or less lethal munitions.

It turns out some of the competition shooters liked them, so we tested the market and found that lots of shooters wanted them for modifying the look of their Glocks. People are buying them to paint so they don’t have to permanently paint their slides.

For most people, it is a fun accessory, not a serious one.

MAKOSUCKS

Reply

Mako Defense October 10, 2013 at 11:56 am

What are you talking about? We are the US representative and importer for FAB Defense, Meprolight, Front Line, and E-Lander.
We don’t hide this, and a quick look at our website or catalog shows information on all of these companies.

We write our own marketing materail because the US market is much different from overseas markets. This is why our product descriptions are written differently from FAB’s.

Reply

MAKOSUCKSFABRules October 11, 2013 at 05:51 am

Your product materials say otherwise. On your pathetic Amazon page http://www.amazon.com/The-Mako-Group/pages/3044824011/ you show the FAB Defense logo in your pictures but make NO MENTION of FAB in any of the product names or descriptions.

Basically YOU LIE, claim credit for others work but NEVER bother to properly write marketing materials for Americans. And you blame FAB for the poor translations “The description is written by a marketing company and translated to english, so . . ..”

You are despicable!

Reply

Mako Defense October 11, 2013 at 01:48 pm

We have never claimed credit for anyone else’s work, and Amazon is a dealer of the products we import. We sell to them, but can’t control how our dealers advertise our products. Many dealers list our products under the Mako name since they set up their systems based on suppliers, and some have even listed other products under our name, or Mepro products as FAB products, since they are supplied from the same place. We have no control over this.

If you even bothered to look at this product on our website, you would see that the description is totally different from the description on FAB’s website that was quoted and linked to in this thread. FAB’s description is designed for a different market.

Reply

IDontLikeMAKOEither October 12, 2013 at 11:16 am

I find your website to be misleading too! It’s a good thing that there are so many other companies that deal in FAB Defense’s high quality products or I wouldn’t buy them.

If it says MAKO, STAY AWAY!

Reply

Mako Defense October 12, 2013 at 04:42 pm

Sure, it is easy to make vague statements, like, “Your website is misleading,” without giving any specifics. If there is a mistake in a product description, feel free to contact me and I will make sure it get’s changed. Otherwise, this is obviously just a couple trolls, or maybe just one using different names trying to give us a bad name.
Anyone else in the US who sells FAB accessories purchases them from Mako, or imports them illegally, and we would just as soon you support our dealers anyway – in fact, we recommend that you buy FAB products from your local dealer or from any of our other dealers throughout the US.

Reply

IDontLikeMAKOEither October 12, 2013 at 05:39 pm

Hahahahahaha!

“Imports them illegally” So now MAKO controls the internet? Has exclusive rights to ebay? Rules over Amazon?

Keep making stupid comments. It only makes you look even dumber!

Reply

Mako Defense October 14, 2013 at 12:17 am

The state department and the ATFE controls importation of what they consider to be firearm parts. This includes a lot of accessories that really should not be controlled as firearms parts. Without the right paperwork, it is not legal to import the accessories into the US, for an individual as well as a business. Also, FAB is very strict about importers and distributors covering only their assigned areas, for example, as soon as there was an importer set up in Canada, we no longer sold any FAB products in Canada, and instead assist the Canadian company to sell FAB products there.

Who owns the MAKO store on amazon?
http://www.amazon.com/The-Mako-Group/pages/3044824011/

Why are all the FAB Defense items listed as MAKO?

Isn’t that more of MAKO’s lies?

Reply

Mako Defense October 14, 2013 at 12:21 am

Amazon runs it. They list the products that way because they buy them from us. Many other distributors do the same, such as Midway USA, Brownells, RSR, etc. Their inventory systems are set up to list the products under the names of their suppliers, not necessarily the manufacturer. It is unlikely that we will see this changed – most distributors don’t se it as an important issue, even when we ask them to change it. In fact, we have dropped some products in the past that were non-FAB (and not even Mako) products because distributors and dealers listed them as FAB products or as Mako products in a way that caused confusion for our customers.

Reply

Mako Defense October 14, 2013 at 12:36 am

For example, look at that link that you posted – there are a number of products there that Amazon does not get from Mako, yet they list them as Mako products – the magnifiers used to be a Mako product, but we discontinued them years ago, yet they are still listed as Mako products. The self-healing target base (says “ships and sold by Optics Planet”) was a product made by FAB that we marketed in the US, with LE targets being the largest of our distributors for those targets, yet several years ago LE targets was given exclusive distributorship of that target system and they are the current supplier. Other products like the shotgun barrel clamp thingy are not even our products (click it and you will see it is sold by Global Sportsman through Amazon). Other products say ships and sold by Amazon.com.

It is pretty low to pretend that we are lying by continually quoting some of our customer’s advertising, which we have no control over.

Why does no one reference OUR website, where each category is listed under the name of each manufacturer?

Do the photos I posted there look like we are trying to lie about who manufactured the product?

How about linking to what we post instead of third parties? I guess that would defeat the dishonest point you are trying to make . . .
