LAPD Officer Turns The Bitch Dial Up To 11

All because the driver wouldn’t say where he was going:

LAPDI’ll say this again…even though I think being a law enforcement officer of any kind has got to be the most frustrating job on earth, the point is you’re a public servant so if you can’t deal with the shitheads as cordially as you can deal with the people you could see yourself hanging out with, then it’s probably time for a new line of work.

Thoughts?  Will this woman lose her badge, or will the incident get swept under the rug?

Hat tip: Tym, Craig

Frank August 4, 2013 at 12:38 am

What a mouthy fucking cunt-hole. She ought to be slapped, fired or suspended w/o pay for one month, and sent back to the fucking kitchen.

She started swearing first. What a cunthole.

Pat August 4, 2013 at 01:56 am

Wow apparently you’re a hard ass for knowing your rights…bitch should be fired..I hate most LEO’s, not all but most, and she’s definitely giving LAPD even more of a bad rep..shame shame

Sable August 4, 2013 at 07:48 am

I really don’t think the LAPD can get a worse reputation than they already have unless they start executing people at traffic stops…

M August 4, 2013 at 04:30 pm

they tried that, didn’t you see the blue truck?

Tim August 4, 2013 at 10:06 pm

You mean the one delivering newspapers in California?

277Volt August 5, 2013 at 01:53 am

That Dorner deal was an LAPD assassination from the get go. They didn’t want him alive and that’s why two different innocent parties got shot the hell up in their trigger happy head hunt.

ENDO-Mike August 4, 2013 at 04:40 pm

Lol coming soon!

277Volt August 4, 2013 at 07:07 pm

Please tell me you knocked on wood after saying that.

It is power-drunk jerk-offs like her that constantly chip away at the good work of good officers. It takes 100 good experiences with cops to make up for one single incident with a dirt bag like her.

Nick August 4, 2013 at 02:03 am

A lot of people are giving this lady shit, but I don’t think she deserves it. She asked a personal question and he could’ve just said “I don’t feel comfortable to disclose such information” or just drove off and pretend that he didn’t hear her, but instead he chose the route of one of those douche-bags who open carry their rifles in front of police and “being aware of his rights” acted like a fucking hard ass. He deserved the ass chewing he got.

dave w August 4, 2013 at 06:36 am

I agree. Donut with extra sprinkles for her.

Quint Young August 4, 2013 at 09:42 am

Oh, ok , so now we’re in the wrong pointing out what our rights are. Shit, why dont we just stop using that excuse altogether. We’ll stop using the same line on anti-gunners too. What a hypocrite you are. Anyone should be allowed to stand behind the phrase “it’s my right” or any variation of for any reason that applies.

Nick August 4, 2013 at 03:18 pm

He had confirmed that he was free to go and didn’t have to answer any more questions, all he was doing past the point of “so I’m free to go, right?” was egging her on. He could’ve left without saying another word, but he chose to ask if he was being detained like an asshole would.

elephantrider August 5, 2013 at 01:20 am

“egging her on,” ha ha! That’s a good one. First off, asking if you are being detained is not an insult, egging on, or even “talking shit.” Secondly, even if it were any of those things, true professional police are supposed to be immune to that sort of behavior. Only morons and meat head cops get caught up in being baited by someone. Cooler heads prevail.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 02:59 am

It wasn’t egging her on? Did you even watch the fucking video? He said what he said JUST to piss her off, and it worked. You reap what you sew.

BBJones August 5, 2013 at 01:51 pm

Different strokes for different folks, but we see this incident completely differently. Seemed pretty calm when he asked and was his subtle way of saying I am leaving unless you are going to take further action. She on the other hand seemed slightly unhinged with her “tatted up” rant. He was 1 min away from being arrested for having tats, driving while having tats, accessory to a female with tats, and delinquency of a minor because they might have seen a tat.

All that aside, lets say that he was trying to piss her off. Well he is better at pissing off a cop than she is at being a professional. Who is this going to be a problem for? The jerk off with a camera or the cop yelling and screaming about irrelevant shit at someone who had not broken a law and threatening an illegal search just for the hell of it.

ENDO-Mike August 5, 2013 at 01:56 pm

He was 1 min away from being arrested for having tats, driving while having tats, accessory to a female with tats, and delinquency of a minor because they might have seen a tat.

2Wheels August 4, 2013 at 11:10 am

Maybe you weren’t paying that much attention when you watched the vid… That cop went to full on bitch mode for absolutely no reason. He didn’t want to disclose where he was going, what’s so wrong with that?

The bitch cop needs to be taken off the street and thrown into some anger therapy classes before she goes off and shoots someone for disrespecting her.

Nick August 4, 2013 at 03:19 pm

What’s wrong with it was the way he chose to not to disclose the information. He could’ve just said “I don’t want to reveal this information” but instead he asked “am I being detained?”

Jim P. August 4, 2013 at 03:31 pm

And that gives her the right to yell at him? What if she tased him for asking that?

Nick August 4, 2013 at 05:00 pm

That’d be wrong because she’s causing physical harm to him and would be assaulting him for no good reason, but being a shit head is a good reason for an ass chewing.

Jim P. August 4, 2013 at 05:35 pm

Isn’t it a verbal assault for no good reason?

Nick August 4, 2013 at 05:41 pm

If you count verbal assault as actual assault you must’ve had a sheltered upbringing where your parents never yelled at you. Have you never heard “sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me?” Grow up if you’re counting yelling as verbal abuse.

Matt in FL August 4, 2013 at 05:48 pm

Just because of the sticks & stones reference, I’m gonna leave this here:

DB327 August 6, 2013 at 08:07 am

+1 for xkcd

Jim P. August 4, 2013 at 06:32 pm

No. You are trying to justify her verbal abuse under the color of authority. At that point she no longer had any authority. If he was free to go then she should have just shut up.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 01:39 am

No, her verbal abuse is because HE is acting like a shithead. He’s never heard or just doesn’t care about being courteous, it doesn’t matter that she’s a police officer, it matters that he’s acting like a fucking asshole BECAUSE she’s a police officer. I guarantee you if someone else asked that question he wouldn’t say “am I being detained?” He’d tell them or say “I don’t want to tell you.” That’d be like if I treated someone like shit because they’re a garbage man.

2Wheels August 4, 2013 at 06:49 pm

He asked a legitimate question, maybe you don’t like how he phrased it, but it was legitimate… Then she started threatening him with illegal searches and insulting him and verbally abusing him… And you consider that ok? Really? I hope you’re not a cop, I really do.

Her behavior was unacceptable, period. You can’t make excuses for her because you don’t like what he said. She lost her cool and flipped shits for no good reason, and people like that shouldn’t be cops.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 01:41 am

Everyone has a bad day every once in awhile, are they not allowed to blow off steam? I’d rather she did it on someone who was acting like an ass than someone who wasn’t.

BBJones August 5, 2013 at 01:53 pm

how about the threat of the illegal search? Hmmm seems like an abuse of power and intimidation.

elephantrider August 5, 2013 at 01:16 am

Geez, who knew that ‘am I being detained’ was so inflammatory?

Hey Nick/Dumbass/Troll,
She stopped him for no real reason (no infraction) other than she didn’t like the way he looked (which she admitted later) and he was driving a rental car (fishing for some sort of infraction or criminal activity). She then ask him where he was going, which is none of her business (and she knew that too), but she was fishing for more info. She got pissed when he essentially shut her down by asking if he was being detained.

Extremely unprofessional, and possibly actionable, to threaten an abuse of authority in retribution for a perceived slight, not to mention the insults and cursing. Someone needs a permanent vacation.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 01:43 am

If he didn’t like that she was fishing for information, he could’ve shut her down politely instead of like an asshole. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. She may have been an asshole, but she was just throwing it right back.

elephantrider August 5, 2013 at 12:13 pm

There you go “Nick” aka Troll, you just simultaneously clinched the Troll of the Year and Biggest Douche in the Universe Awards. Congratulations!

Keep on arguing that it is not only acceptable, but also to be expected for a sworn officer to be belligerent and threaten a misuse of authority if anyone ever gives them any sort of perceived attitude. “Am I being detained,” is waaaay over the line. He’s lucky he didn’t get tased, chocked and then shot.

bob August 5, 2013 at 01:24 pm

Nick you must live in a perfect world where no one is ever an ass. Sometimes you just have to deal with it and move on and not react like this woman did.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 01:46 pm

It’s the exact fucking opposite, y’all bastards seem to think that it’s not ok for a cop to chew your ass for acting like a douchebag. Does it hurt your fucking feelings that a cop threatened something? That’d be like if I went and hid in a ditch for a week every time some asshole on the internet claimed he was gonna kill me and my family. It’s a hollow threat that won’t be acted upon. Grow the fuck up and take your ass chewing.

BBJones August 5, 2013 at 01:55 pm

LOL at your view of the world or hat tip for awesome trolling? waste of time either way. well played.

sapper911 August 5, 2013 at 04:59 pm

I don’t have to answer shit. If I’m not being detained or being issued a citation, what business does a cop have with me.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 07:13 pm

That’s fine, but you don’t have to be a cock about it.

277Volt August 4, 2013 at 07:19 pm

Going queen bitch just because he didn’t reply in the manner she would prefer is wrong on every level. If she can’t even keep her cool in that situation how can anyone expect her to keep cool under a verbal berating from some unhinged person?

bandroidx August 4, 2013 at 10:07 pm

He didnt say “I know my rights!”, he asserted them, and showed he was aware of them in the process. There is a big difference.

Mike September 22, 2016 at 11:53 am

You’re a fucking Dumbass nick, you are. You’re part of the problem with police relations in this country. Oh just bend over and let em fuck you, don’t say no to a cop, don’t let them know that it’s NONE OF HER DAM BUSINESS where you’re going and don’t ask to clarify the question of whether you’re being detained. Fuck you Nick…you’re a stupid fuck that don’t know his rights and as long as ignorant dumb fucks like you continue to permit this abuse of power, it will continue against citizens of this country.

Lisa May 17, 2019 at 06:46 pm

Agree 100%!! I’m still trying to figure out if anyone found out who she is? Plus we have no clue what all the guy said before the hit record!

Squirreltactical August 4, 2013 at 03:20 am

Someone has a wee bit of pent-up aggression, no?

Hard_Harry August 5, 2013 at 08:42 am

By the looks of things I’d say what she really needs is a serious, deep dicking! Fuck out some of that pent up aggression.

STF August 5, 2013 at 08:45 am

I was going to say that I would hit that.

hnl.flyboy August 4, 2013 at 03:54 am

Fucking cunt.

Jay August 4, 2013 at 04:27 am

EVERYone needs to stop knuckling under to cops. They get respect when they earn it.

SHE could have defused the situation with a “I see you know your rights, have a nice day….” and let it go, but no, she cranks up the verbal abuse.

She needs to be fired.

SittingDown August 4, 2013 at 04:32 am

She’s lucky he wasn’t a “tatted up gangsta.”

Pat August 4, 2013 at 07:25 am

Seriously…if he was a real gangster she would’ve probably been on the hit list or been shot plain right there

David August 4, 2013 at 04:45 am

Nothing but courtesy, respect, and professionalism.

Matt in FL August 4, 2013 at 12:35 pm

Yeah, that’s all I saw. What are all you cop-haters complaining about?

Or something.

That woman needs some time off.

Ryan C August 4, 2013 at 05:09 am

The poor guy, she probably really hurt his feelings with all that foul language *rolls eyes*

So the cop yelled at him a little bit, WGAF?

denver chris August 4, 2013 at 12:57 pm

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or not, but in case you’re not, imagine if you treated a customer at your job like this. Would you not have repercussions for your actions from your higher-ups?

Going beyond that, while cops shouldn’t be subjected to crazy standards in terms of PR stuff, I think they do have a duty to avoid being douchebags when possible, like in this case.

Tito August 4, 2013 at 05:33 am

Fired? Surely LAPD has a union. Chris Dorner probably wouldn’t have been fired had he still been a cop on LAPD….

Jim P. August 4, 2013 at 06:49 am

She is totally in the wrong for chewing him out. Definitely needs some retraining.

Steve August 4, 2013 at 08:53 am

Probably just that time of the month.

John Fritz August 4, 2013 at 09:04 am

Let it go.

Shawn Firmin August 4, 2013 at 09:07 am

This shit it happening more and more it seems like but I also think we are seeing it more and more just because of the availability of recording devices.

That being said these kinds of actions by cops needs to stop. The biggest problem is that the command likely doesn’t care that it’s happening and or won’t do anything about it. Something needs to make them start caring.

andyhasky August 4, 2013 at 10:00 am

“tatted up gang members,” but jay-z said cops don’t profile!!!

John M. August 4, 2013 at 10:14 am

I think they are both idiots. He knew he was giving her a hard time, but, she lost her cool too.

Nick August 5, 2013 at 01:44 am

This right here, they were both the assholes.

M. Prewitt August 4, 2013 at 11:02 am

Listening to the female cop reminds me of what my Grandfather used to say….”Some women just need a bounty put on their heads”….
She’s a cunt with a badge….imagine what she’s like during that one special week every month….I’m guessing that she probably is seven levels of bat shit crazy then….imagine Nancy Grace with a gun….scary, huh?

FrankD August 4, 2013 at 12:14 pm

You could show this video to 1000 police officers and all 1000 of them would look at you really confused like if you tried to convince them there is anything wrong with this. Sweeping things under the rug is what they do when they shoot the wrong people or get caught dealing drugs or something, this is a non event, unfortunately.

Federale August 4, 2013 at 01:24 pm

Homey got his Trayvon act going on. Gangbangers got to gangbang and cops got to deal with it.

Matt August 4, 2013 at 03:47 pm

She must of watched ‘Training day’ before going on shift lol

lighttech August 4, 2013 at 04:01 pm

she goofed and should get some time off ON HER DIME not ours

1 she said he was free to go –then changed up to “where ya going” not your problem mrs gestapo

2 AND the one most of you here missed –she threatened him with a ILLEGAL search just to mess with him –heck she even said “I can’t use anything I find in court!!!!” – threatening or in intimidating under the color of authority– last time I heard this can go FEDERAL –then add if she did it the search and seizure laws on top –heck if it was me I would have said OK do it and hit send on my I-phone to the net right there!!!

3 foul language AIMED AT THE PERSON/ME–this I will not take from a public servant or anyone who is working for me –EVER!

its funny how all of you guys missed the FEDERAL crime that was just taped in #2

Matt in FL August 4, 2013 at 05:47 pm

That’s actually a really good point. For all the talk about the DOJ investigating George Zimmerman for “civil rights violations,” the fact is the investigation of a “common citizen” for charges like that is almost unheard of. Prosecutable civil rights violations are almost always done, in fact almost have to be done, under color of law. It’s really hard for me as a private citizen to violate your civil rights, because civil rights are all about protecting the citizenry from the government, not protecting the citizenry from each other.

Therefore, her threat of an illegal search solely for the purposes of intimidation could be seen as a violation of his civil rights, because she’s doing it under color of law.

dave w August 4, 2013 at 07:58 pm

She asked where he was going at 12 seconds, he avoided the question.
I would like to see the whole stop, not just the last part.

STF August 4, 2013 at 09:27 pm

He isn’t required to answer that question.

Jim P. August 4, 2013 at 09:40 pm

I do agree — I’d like to see the whole thing. But if she is letting him drive off, the rest of the stop must have been legal.

J dubbya August 4, 2013 at 06:50 pm

Yea, she’s supposed to be held to a higher standard, but hell, she’s human and her job as a uniform officer is stressful. All cops get burnt out if they’ve been on the road long enough. It was unprofessional on her part, and she was treading a very thin line when she made all the threats, but I don’t think she would have followed through. Now, if she actually pulled the guy out of the car and searched his car just for being a douche, then we have a serious problem. I don’t think she would have gone that far, and I think the guy caught her bluff, it’s just that he didn’t want to deal with her pms’ing any further. To me, she’s paying already through the posting of the video. Any good that she did do in the past as an officer is out the window, at least in the eye of the public. At any rate, I don’t think she should lose her job over it. An apology and an unpaid suspension day sounds more reasonable.

Still, we could argue that she was threatening an illegal search and using her position to intimidate the guy, but did she really intend to do that?

HMPlatinum August 4, 2013 at 07:29 pm

Does anyone remember the vid of the HP officer getting screamed at by the dude in the truck.

He was calm, cool, and professional under a withering screaming fit. Verbal assault? He haz it.

The officer in this vid needs some downtime, and maybe a career change.

thebronze August 5, 2013 at 12:30 am

Stop posting bunk. This chick isn’t with the LAPD. She works for Inglewood PD and we don’t even know if she’s a cop or not.

Once again, THIS IS NOT the LAPD.

ENDO-Mike August 5, 2013 at 12:32 am

Alright… Source?

SSGCasper August 5, 2013 at 10:10 am

Since “Thebronze” can’t be bothered to reply..

According to Reddit and the Huffington Post-Los Angeles edition, this isn’t a LAPD Officer, and the patch on her arm is believed to be an Inglewood Patch. The Inglewood PD hasn’t commented back yet, however the LAPD did review the video and responded: “We reviewed the video and we do not comment on other Law Enforcement Agency traffic stops.” Which would support that she wasn’t one of their officers.

ENDO-Mike August 5, 2013 at 10:14 am

Thanks, I’ll take a look!

thebronze August 6, 2013 at 02:56 am

Yeah, I “didn’t bother to reply” because I don’t spend every waking moment on the fucking internet, moron.

Here’s your source:

elephantrider August 5, 2013 at 01:26 am

She threatened to search his person and vehicle. He stopped and gave her his rental car related paperwork. He asked if he was being detained. I think it is safe to say that she is/was at least some type of sworn officer.

homeslice August 5, 2013 at 02:21 am

…i wonder how the video would have gone if the guy would have started to scream around and gave her the same attitude…

…beaten and arrested?…
…tasered and arrested?…
…or just shot?

croppedxout August 5, 2013 at 06:25 am

…but they were tatted up.

SSGCasper August 5, 2013 at 10:17 am

On the Reddit Comments someone mentioned something that made me stop and think, could this be a hoax or maybe a rent-a-cop security guard for the rental lot?

From Supermegafuana on Reddit- “Never seen a cop with their hair down like that.

I also have never seen long hair down like that on a patrol officer, typically it is pulled back or in a bun, typically due to department uniform policies. So that is a little curious to say the least, but the uniform she is wearing appears in the flashes of it you can see to be legit, so who knows.

If this is a real actual encounter with a patrol officer then you have to ask how the hell is this officer going to react when she is in a use of force scenario? If she can’t keep her cool and not threaten to violate multiple regulations and laws on search and seizure then how the hell is she going to keep her cool under fire or when faced with a potential shoot or no shoot issue?

Dr Kranknstein August 5, 2013 at 10:23 pm

Yeah I read something like that as well. Their comments were based on the fact her hair was wayyyy out regs for LAPD and that LAPD do not have patches on the sleeves of their uniforms. One comment said it looks like either a BART or Airport officer.

Either way the chick is a major bitch. He should have immediately uploaded the video and just said…Welcome to YouTube.

JWhite August 5, 2013 at 11:38 am

Being a Californian native (Los Angeles – kill me now)….

“Will this woman lose her badge, or will the incident get swept under the rug?”

Like you even have to ask. LAPD is the biggest gang in this city. This won’t get much more than a couple jokes in the locker room.

LAPD sucks.

JWhite August 5, 2013 at 11:39 am

I should also add that, not all cops suck, but here, you have a 1 in 20 chance of running into a cop who isn’t a complete ass hole. If you’re even remotely on the receiving end of their day to day activities, best thing to do is keep your mouth shut, and wait it out, and deal with it in court. Been there done it. Not guilty bitches!

DaveM August 5, 2013 at 06:10 pm

Fortunately it did not escalate
Lots of hair to grab if it did

Paul August 5, 2013 at 08:46 pm

At all those stating that the guy was being an ass, he was pulled over for no cause then when told he was not being detained she continued to ask him questions. Now at this point whether he had a bit of attitude or not she is in the wrong if this guy was free to go that means she has no need to ask anymore questions of him and should step away from the car so he can leave.

She asked a question after she told him he was ok to go from my listening of this he was re-affirming that he was ok to leave. I would ask the same thing if I was in that situation. Make sure it is ok for me to leave before pulling out since she is continuing to talk.

I don’t care how she talked to him it was rude, unneeded, and unprofessional however the true reason she should be fired on the spot is abuse of power. She knows what she is threatening is against the law but is still trying to threaten this guy into submission. Sounds like the thug in this situation had a light over her car and wore a uniform.

300SBR August 6, 2013 at 05:28 pm

Livin in the Youtube world … everyone wants something juicy to post so they push the buttons to get it.

Im certainly no gov lover, but these folks get this kinda crap from Junior with a camera phone ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. Sooner or later, they are gonna say stupid shit. Meanwhile Jr. gets a ton of hits on his “channel”.

Jeff Baker August 7, 2013 at 08:12 am

LAPD doesn’t wear shoulder patches. The other observation I’ll make is, LAPD is a pretty squared away agency as it relates to dress and grooming standards. No way a female LAPD officer is going to get past her local command wearing a long head of hair like that.

As for whether the woman conducted herself appropriately and as a professional, the video speaks for itself.

Hunter57dor August 7, 2013 at 09:53 am

does she not realize, being an american taxpayer, that guy is technically, her boss?

Cuban Pete August 8, 2013 at 11:07 pm

Damn, we didn’t get to see either his tats or her tits. I feel that I was cheated out of a couple of minutes of my life by ENDO.

Nakedgun August 10, 2013 at 08:08 pm

She’s obviously over-reacting out of frustration. Probly from running into a super-operator-on-a-video-sting-operation.

I would suggest that she will get reprimanded for the profanity, but of course all you “experts” know better, right?

Not even wasting time reading some of these super-roided, anti-Police, I know my rights, Govt.-conspiracy, cussing-cuz-I-can’t-write-a-thought-otherwise comments in here…

Resume conspiracy-theorizing from the safety of your sofas.
