Posted for no other reason than this kid is 9, British, and getting a taste of America while he’s here on Vacation. Will he be allowed to tell his friends about the guns he shot when he goes back to school in the fall? Is it illegal over there yet to talk about guns at school? I imagine possession of YouTube shooting footage at school is definitely a crime.
Maybe when Piers reads my blog today he will tweet about how “disgusting it is to see a child shoot the same caliber high capacity ASSAULT WEAPON used to shoot Gabrielle Giffords in the head and kill 32 people at Virgina Tech”. Yea he’s quite predictable, so I’m pretty much positive those words would be coming out of his mouth verbatim.

Interestingly, there is no lower age limit on a firearms permit there.
Most states have a minimum age for hunting, but a minor of any age can be in possession of a firearm if supervised by an adult. The only thing the age possession laws, like Australia have, accomplish is keeping kids from having an interest in firearms.

I never use Facebook or any other social media system… social media sounds too much like social disease to me…but I’m actually considering joining Facebook so I can annoy this ENGLISHman in the hope he’ll just go home. He could be just as ridiculous and annoying from across the water as he is from this side, but at least he’d be gone.
