INGO NFA Days – September 2013

A lot of guys at INGO have been huge ENDO Supporters.  Check these toys out:

Nicely done video.  Looks like a good time!

I don’t even know what I would pick if given the choice.  Not a short barreled shotgun, that’s for sure.  Been there done that… they look cool but are about as much fun as someone smashing you in the wrist with a 2×4.

INGO-Indiana-Gun-OwnersIf you’re looking for another forum to kill time on with some great guys (Possibly girl or two? Unconfirmed haha) head over to Indiana Gun Owners (INGO).

Thoughts?

Mike, short barreled shotguns are the only NFA item restricted in Indiana. What you are looking is a 12gage manufactured as a pistol AWO; but it will break your wrist just as well.

1:58 that Super short has some serious issues, notice how the foregrip comes back with the shot, seems like it’s not locking properly. Thats a pretty severe problem.

It’s not any different than any other shotgun. As soon as the trigger is pulled, the forearm is released and will come back. It may be exacerbated by increased felt recoil (less weight to the firearm), but there isn’t any thing wrong with it per-se. Both Serbu SS I’ve fired have done the same exact thing. I do not believe that I’ve fired the Mossberg 500 version.

INGO’s NFA day is an amazing experience, some of the best days shooting I’ve ever had. It’s equal parts education, entertainment, fellowship and pure awesome. I think it really showcases what the INGO community is all about.

INGOer here to confirm that NFA day is the best-organized and operated private shoot I have ever gotten to attend.

As for girls…yeah, INGO’s got ’em…but be careful, they’re armed!

Now, to check out the rest of ENDO!

Another INGOer and NFA Day alumnus. What everybody above said is the truth. (About NFA Day and the armed Lady INGOers).

the MG42 was a bucket list item to shoot. Actually just to hear that thing rattle off a belt was just bone chilling to anyone like me that loves anything about WW2 era history. I’ve been to a lot of INGO events and my experience has always involved the take away feeling of great people, great sense of community, and the sense that these people love to share their toys in a way that favorably represents the gun community. NFA days was no exception and in my opinion a cornerstone “INGO event”.

I didn’t make it this year, but previous years we had several ladies in attendance. INGO itself has an ever growing female population. Come check us out!

Hey thanks for posting this video. Lots of great folks and fun toys on INGO! This is my first exposure to ENDO but by the looks of things it won’t be my last. Keep up the good work!

NFA Day was an absolute blast. Great people, awesome hardware, and great food. It was my first experience with NFA items. My ‘want’ list of toys grew exponentially…

ENDO thanks for sharing INGO with your witty blog. I’m one of 5 organizers of NFA Day(s) and we appreciate your support. We put a lot of work into making NFA Day a success and with this being our 6th year it runs really well.

Feel free to check out participant pictures and videos here:

Note– while short-barreled shotguns are indeed restricted in Indiana, we had several on-hand provided by one of our vendors who is a CIII dealer. Several were Mossbergs cut down to 14″, and one was a dual-hammer side-by-side coach gun. Very cool!
