Buck Yeager says it’s not the gun it’s you:

James-Yeager-Angel-ApprovedYea I agree with him.  That’s all I have to say.

“Don’t be a pussy or a noob” great tip, I’ll keep that in mind. Information well worth my 2 minutes.

  2. Unfortunately he is wrong, there is a period of when Glocks had major ejection issues including high incidences of brass to your face.

Could it have been a lot of untrained people who were limp-wristing?

      1. Except this one isn’t.

I have two identical Glock 19 Gen 3. The first I bought LNIB used on election day Nov 2008. The second I bought new (at the Tactical Response Alumni event no less) July 2010 with a production date of late 2009.

The newer Glock 19 has brass to the face, and stove pipes, while the older one simply works like a Glock.

Have you done experimentation? Swap extractors/barrels/slides, analyze the results. Send your information to Buck and drop some science on his ass tranny ass.

          1. Nope. I’ve been meaning to fix it, but it gets back burnered as I have more important things to do.

If I had time (which I won’t until after Memorial Day) I would put 200 rounds each on camera. To show the brass to the face and the stove pipes of the Glocks made during that time period.

  3. I should totally modify an extractor and see if I can make it hit me in the face every time.

  4. There was more “but, uh” and “but, um”s in this 2 minute video than I have seen in hundreds of nervous high school and college student presentations. But, uh, haha.

  5. Never had the issue from a pistol. But then I usually do 1911s.

Now from AR-15/M-16 shooting lefty either prone or on a rest you can expect it.
