EPIC. I do like how they let him talk the whole time. Maybe they didn’t get it was satire? I would have thought making a mockery of the city council would have been cause for them to be like “Ahhhhh ha ha ha you got us… I think you’re done now?”. It was also awesome the guy talking kept a straight face, and a super serious tone throughout.
Protect the people from themselves. BAN EVERYTHING!

For those not familiar, Ashland is a town full of hippies and is the mecca for all things Bill Shakespeare. I imagine the city council was enjoying his bit as a piece of theatrical dialogue moreso than an honest plea or insult.
I kind of feel like 50% of the people there were not following anything he had to say, much less identified it as satire.
I have very few heroes, but I think this guy just became one of them. :)

The town is debating an ordinance banning the carry of loaded weapons or magazines in the city limits, which would be a violation of the Oregon constitution.
He does an excellent job or parodying?? a town that bans styrofoam, plastic bags and has the highest non-immunization rate of children in the state of Oregon. Which ranks very high in the nation.
