Mom’s Derp Out Over Facebook Gun Sales

Mom’s Demand Action (Mom’s Who Want To Ban Everything) is now in a crusade against getting gun sales off Facebook:

So let me get this straight… law abiding citizens are LEGALLY advertising their guns for sale on a public forum and you have a problem with that?  *smh*  just move to the UK already moms.  They don’t allow pointy objects over there either, so you can focus your attention on banning something like pillows used for suffocation murders, or something else incredibly scary.

0:21 – “enough mags to take out a few presidents xD”.  Seriously?  Who says shit like that?

Are these moms aware that if someone were to sell their gun to a criminal who saw it on Facebook, that “law abiding” person would also be committing a serious felony?  So much derp.

Can you imagine the bricks that would be shit over my Like Button T-shirt?

Thoughts?

  1. I agree; end facebook and have gun sales. hashbrownstwittertaglulz

On an equally seriousness-devoid note: Does anybody else think “like”, “tots”, and “O!M!G!” should be interjected between slides/screenshots.

    Much funny, so laughing.

I love my Like Button T-shirt. Every time I wear it I get at least on person to tell me they “like” it back. But of course, I live in AZ.

Some great captions in there. At 0:36 an “HK93SGI sniper riffle” for sale with an NCStar scope? Oh even includes a “Raptor night scope” and a “backup pistol” all for a cool $65 g’s! “No scratch” and no background check! WTF? They even recycled one from earlier propaganda at 0:43. You would think if this were as rampant as they say that they could use real examples instead of fabricating their own. Maybe that’s why the names are blacked out? So we don’t get the names of MDA member’s FB accounts?

Some believe MDA faked a few of the ads. One was listed as an A-15 with a dust cover.

OOOOH, A DUST COVER!? SOLD AMERICAN!

      1. One never operates without a dust cover for hyper-dynamic non-permissible dust environments .

That particular one was the recycled, fake looking ad I was referring to. Lots of statements in here that just sound off. Kind of like someone who knew nothing about guns tried to do minimal research to sound like they knew what they were talking about. Unfortunately the average person will not be able to spot the difference. I suppose these are the same people who have never let facts get in the way of their message, why should this be any different? Still just seems wrong.

  4. But look at all those people they found trading in public! I thought that was part of what they wanted – to keep tabs on everyone they think is a threat to their, “freedom to feel safe.”

  5. The post highlighted toward the end of the video came up on TTAG, and I think most were in agreement that it was likely a post created and posted on by anti-gunners to make it look like a nefarious sale.

  6. Just flag them for promoting violence
