Congressman Thomas Massie Investigates ATF Raid On Ares Armor

During a house oversight committee meeting:

Clear-80-percent-Lower-ar15-ReceiverI can tell I like the cut of Massie’s jib, however LOL at the ATF ever destroying that list.  Like that’s going to happen.  Sure they might “destroy” it, but I can’t see them ever actually destroying it if you catch my drift.  If you missed the whole ARES Armor debacle you can catch up at the link.

Thomas Massie represents the 4th district of Kentucky.

Thoughts?

Thanks for posting this. It’s nice to know that some folks care. With that said, I’ll never believe that they will destroy that list.

I have no doubt that that list will be destroyed, right after they make a soft copy that will exist forever on the ATFs servers.

  3. All of those names are already in the servers being checked against every other database. Every individual on that list will have this flagged every time they do anything firearm related. It is the US government which is known for storing and retroactively using data whether gained legally or illegally.

I will never understand why this stuff is such a big deal when someone can make a gun in their garage with pipes and some ingenuity in less than a day.

Ares didn’t make these lowers, they just re-sold them. Nice to see the AFT tool being less then truthful.
