Glocks Are For The Militarized Police – Advertisement

Not you, you regular-joe peasant:

I don’t know what these guys problem with that plane is, but they appear to have a fair amount of speed and a significantly low drag coefficient.  Hell they’re even wearing Kryptek Typhon camouflage, which is known to increase operational success by 30 – 40%.

Maybe that was Cliven Bundy’s private ranch jet, and they are the BLM coming for their taxes?

glocknade0:54 – Did he throw a .40 Glock?  Is that was exploded?  hahahha easy joke I know.

Thoughts?  Do you still like your military style police polymer assault pistols as much as I do?

Most of your big firearm companies really only care about gov’t contracts, not commercial sales to private citizens. In fact, isn’t that why Glock started making guns in the first place, for Austrian military trials ego gov’t contract, since he is a gov’t contract even before that?

This video is tactically retarded. They need to stick to the Gunny commercials.

It’s operational buffer for extreme cold ops.

If you were an Real Operator you’d understand.

My bad.

But I do give them points for the tactically shaved heads, biker beards and “I was there…” tats. No team would be complete without them.

:-)

Remember when police were more like this:

Oh my have the times changed.

This only serves to exacerbate the anti-gunner’s “dropping-leads-to-exploding” pistol phobia.

Glock, for one, welcomes our new overlords. Way to legitimize and deify our de facto standing army.

I recall CZ had a similar promo of a tactical team only armed their handguns too. What is this, wave one in Counter-Strike?

Confidence: It’s What You Carry

Especially when you carry only sidearms into a “counter-terrorism” op. I get that it’s a Glock ad but stick an MP5SD in there for realism’s sake.

MP5SD for “realism” eh? Gimme a fuckin’ break.

Reply

DinoRidingArab April 27, 2014 at 09:17 pm

I was being slightly sarcastic. As in its just as realistic to “throw in an MP5SD” than it is to have your whole team outfitted with the same handgun.

My point remains though. Not even a shotgun?

Seriously. Lets assault the obj with nothing but glocks. Lmao

MP5 went out of style in the 90’s along with OK Cola and Spawn.

I still see some standard MP5’s sprinkled amongst LE/Tac teams, but their quieter, more sensitive SD brothers are even more sparse.

Meh. Glock has seen their market share drop pretty sharply in recent years. They can’t coast on their rep any more, so, advertising.

They’ve always been big on smoke, mirrors and marketing. Those “in the know” only give in to use what the masses are employing…or in some cases as a lesser evil. Luckily this “C-student of combat handguns” has a big enough foothold that most brass don’t want to go through the logistical hassle of switching.

Now I have got to know what an A-student combat handgun is. Please share.

This is ‘merica, Jack…ain’t no over-achievers here. I could list what I would consider the “B students” but as far as “A’s” go…that spot on the bell curve is up for grabs.

A-Rank combat handguns? That’s easy, bro.

DEagle 50AE, H&K Mark 23, Glock 18, and a customized 1911. And if you use one in each hand, it’s S-Rank.

The Xbox told me so.

The so-called “safety trigger” makes Glock the perfect choice for trigger happy yahoos in paramilitary drag. “Gee Sarge, I dunno what happened, I was all excited and the gun just went off, I swear I didn’t pull the trigger… intentionally”

MP5’s still have a place in tactical units..

As far as the video.. Too much back-lighting, and too much chatter. Depends on what exactly is going-on inside that plane, but they probably needed a secondary-entry/distraction at the very least.

And, I agree; they looked to be slow-speed/high-drag. But it’s not right to judge a book…..

I love how they *sneak* under the plane, after driving up to it with their lights flashing.

Perhaps Gaston Glock will get off his butt, and put out a glock (smg-rifle) compatible with the glock pistol mags.
