Seems like trying to break this record could be VERY costly for the average Joe.
One guy got in legal trouble because he blew up a dump truck, and set off earthquake sensors at a nearby power plant. He did it at a quarry, and was safe about it, so the whole thing was IMO a load of shit. Power plant sensors aren’t sacred; they’re just sensors, but “somebody had do to something” so they made an example out of him.
Are you thinking of the guy that blew up a van on his own property which was a few miles from the air force base that was made an example of?
