Room Clearing With Delta Force

Try as you will, you’ll never be this operator:

0:50 – Sweet baby Jesus that’s close.

Room-Clearing-With-Delta-Force1:03 – Oh man I’m about to have a heart attack.

Special Forces blows my mind.

  1. That is insane!

  2. Two in the chest one in the head time drills are for showoffs. Real operators just shoot the shit out of someone a dozen times and move on.

    1. Somebody knows the truth.

    2. If it’s worth shooting once it’s worth shooting it again……and again.

All about that pelvis. All about that pelvis.

This video is quite old, yes? That said, them dudes are obviously slick. They must have specially fitted uniforms to carry around their massive balls.

If this is the area that I was familiar with (it probably is), the equipment, training facilities, and training itself has been updated markedly since at least a decade ago*. I’m willing to bet this video was filmed before 2003, and probably before the GWOT. No self-respecting D-boy would be caught dead with a 14.5″ musket and vanilla hand guards these days, even during training.

    *<—I am not 18 series

    1. Not to mention the lack of lightweight bump helmets

      1. Agreed haha. This was early 2000’s cool-guy kit.

  5. And they’ve just been getting better ever since…

These guys are probably just airborne.

We used to do stuff like this in the 82nd up to and including using live frags during room clearing exercises.

      ::yawn::

BTW – I’ve seen Rangers train first hand and those guys do some seriously crazy shit

  7. Thank god these types of tactics for the most part have died off.

  8. 1st Special Warfare Training Group isn’t Delta. Good guys, but a different unit.

Its D-unit, the opening scene is Paul Howe…..

    1. I don’t know where you’re seeing Paul, but I’ve trained with him at CSAT and he’s not in the video AFAIK. The guy kitted up in the beginning isn’t Paul. Also, 2:15 mark they identify as 1st SWTG(A).

Yes this is old, for you young snots anyway. The uniforms are woodland pattern that was first issued in the 80’s. The Beretta M9 came along in 1984. The civilian talking halfway through the tape was rescued during the invasion of Panama by Delta. So yes this dates from before 2000, way before probably.

All the Tacticool gear that troops hang on their weapons today was not around then, and would not probably be authorized for use, especially in a training film.

    1. you have a point
