I love how they suddenly hate money in gun politics now that their donors (Bloomberg in particular) have realized that heaping millions of dollars into banning guns is just throwing money away. Look at the money spent in the Colorado recall elections for a great example. They don’t seem to get that for the pro-gun lobby, the carrot ($) is far less powerful than the stick (branding a congressman anti-gun). Then again facing reality destroys their narrative.
Now would be a good time to remind people that the NRA is the America’s(worlds?) largest civil rights organization. The NRA has 5 million members whereas the ACLU has 500,000. The NRA’s power has always come from it’s large active membership base contrary to the oft-spouted anti-gun rhetoric.
why doesn’t it surprise me that the Brady campaign knows a grown as man who will act like a pansy in front of cameras – in the great land of Kazakhstan where my wife is from a mans ownership of a rifle is considered key to his ability to protect and provide for his family – here we have boomers acting like poodles….
