Casio Makes You Commit Suicide If Your Mouse Skills Aren’t Stellar

An interactive movie from Casio brand G-Shock about zombies is very dark:

Play it over at the G-Shock microsite –

Because I don’t mess around, I started off on difficulty level “hell”.  I didn’t make it far before I messed up on too many of the mouse patterns, and the dad (pictured above) revolver’d himself in the head all over the family pictures.  Not really what I was expecting from a company that makes watches.  Will Moms demand action on G-Shock now?  Will they demand action on Google for Chrome supporting HTML5?  With They demand action on all touchscreen and computer mice manufacturers?

I really don’t have the patience to keep playing the game and finding out what happens, but I have to say they definitely did a impressive job on the execution of this.  Product placement is obvious, but mainly because you knew in advance.  If you weren’t explicitly told it was a G-Shock promo, it’s not any more in your face than movies or TV shows are now.

Just when I thought zombies were done with…

Thoughts?  Anyone make it to the end?

I made it to the end. Has a weird ending:

In the end the daughter (Mia) points the gun at John (AKA dad) and asks what was the mother (AKA Kathrin) wearing before she died. John sees a hallucination of her next to Mia and she is wearing a yellow sweater. Mia gets angry/scared and asks “What colour was her dress!?”. John says it was a yellow sweater not a red dress, then she gives him the gun and they hug while Mia states that she was so sure it was a red dress. Then we get a peek through a crack in the door and see the mother as a zombie and she is wearing a… red dress. That implies that John didn’t quite remember everything and that sorta makes his future uncertain. That and he didn’t get bit but a zombie drooled/spit/slobbered on an open wound that he got while getting in the house.

I loved the ad and whatnot…but… I use Seikos. Automatic FTW, the only automatic I can carry without the 5-0 busting my chops.
