SlipGrip AR-15 Bumpfire Device Has Potential

Slippin when you grippin, and your rounds get to trippin:

SlipGrip-AR15-Bumpfire-Device0:36 – He snaps with that rapey face when he lets loose the fury.

Andrew Bloomfield you genius you.  I like the idea!  Any legal implications you guys can think of v.s. the sliding stocks currently out there?  My guess if he can make this look nice, he will put all those guys out of business.

He has an Indiegogo campaign going right now, which is looking pretty sad atm… I hope he reaches his goal.

Thoughts?

      Haha. Rapey face not included.

  3. I’m more amazed at that he has an A1 style rifle, that’s like finding a unicorn or a virgin.

Ahaha man you commenters have been especially hilarious lately.

  4. Ralphie, you’ll shoot your eye out!

  5. Unless I’m missing something, it looks just like a regular bumpfire device if you cut the stock off. Not sure why he needs $30k either unless he intends to setup injection molding tooling (which is admittedly pricey). Legal fees to patent and 3D printer to prototype are far less.

This slides on the grip itseld whereas the regular bump fire devices rely on the buffer tube guiding a floating grip. If you add up lawyer fees and tooling costs it would easily be over 30k (talking from experience). 3D printing though ya is cheap.

  6. Thank you for support of the SlipGrip! Although the campaign has started off slow, I am projecting the ability to get the model out so long as the initiative hits 20 contributors. I won’t be able to get a patent processsed, but the exposure will be enough for greater processions later. (In other words, tell your friends!). Kyle, the a1 style rifle is an HBAR build I slapped together from an a1 parts kit and a heavy wylde barrel. It wasn’t the most optimal for this demonstration, but was just about all I had. At least she looks like a beaut, if I do say so myself. If anyone else would like any more info, I can be reached personally at [email protected]

  7. Where can I get this at!? Not nearly as ugly as them bump fire systems.
