Low Speed High Drag V.S. High Speed Low Drag CQB Pistol Drills

Gotta hit em with the stunna punch:

*Waaaaapap* *blam blam blam*.  Drills like this seem real derpy considering the “attacker” might not just be standing there and not moving the whole time while this guy fumbles a reload and slowly retreats backward.

Here’s a high-speed alternative:

Spongebob-Squarepants-Operator-Rifle-AR-15LOL holy ok that was quick.  Right up near the face, derp scan, ninja moves and the whole bit.  10/10 would operate with. :P

Thoughts?

Gat tip: no uno

I’d operate with the first guy. He is much slower moving thus making him much easier to hide behind. Plus the increased body mas has much better bullet absorbtion potential.

With the second guy… if I tried to use him as a meat sheild he would undoubtably do some sort of crazy spin or flip or something and he’d be off leaving me without any cover.

Then there is the issue with the pistols. The first guy is using one of those terrible slide holsters which indicates he probably never actually carries or uses his gun much. He undoubtably has a low round count and 1911’s have much better resale value then a Glock with a high round count. He is also much more likely to feel the need to ‘compensate for something’ by buying a high-end gun like Wilson Combat or whatever and probably takes very good care of it. So once I get the blood off of it I’d get much more money at the pawn shop.

It has been in the works for a while! I think I pretty much finalized the design.

I agree with MattW, if ENDO made a “non operator, low speed, high drag” tee shirt, I’d buy them.

I want to see the holes in the targets. I have a feeling there aren’t too many in either one. Tactical fitness man looks to have done better but I saw steep diving muzzles from both. You can’t miss fast enough to win.

Also, enough with 5′ mag dumps. I’m not impressed with shooting from arm’s length away. Not even with a reasonably fast draw and “who farted?” scan.

There should be in the first one…I’m pretty sure he’s running a .22lr 1911 clone(toy)

Grimace was winded after the first punch. I can’t hate on a player though, after a lifetime of operating deep behind enemy lines the only thing left was to do was hit the extra large orange sodas and super sized meals. I’d bro out with this Navy Ranger Delta SEAL if I saw him at the range, looks like I could learn some sweet CQB moves for the eventual day I’m attacked by static criminal in line at McDonalds.

It’s all about the SCAN.

If you cant derp scan you arent a true operator.

Endo-Mike

Nah man, Notch Hat is where it’s as for increased peripheral vision and 360° operations, in fact, you should cut the bill off entirely

In an interesting twist, the guys at Notch are actually cool and can take the ribbing! They want to do a giveaway or promo even, so I’ll probably take them up on it just for kicks.

haha I don’t know about that one… but maybe if I can think of a stylish way to do it.

Well of course I figured it would be an awesome endo styled shirt or I wouldnt have even asked!

Maybe put cork07ink on there doing it to scan for veterans coming after him while his pockets are full of stolen valor

the top guy is a human shield with +10 on his bullet sponge rolls. he is mandatory first guy through the door. plus he would probably split the proceeds from his pie eating contest wins if you were his friend.

nothing can kill the grimace.

There’s some validity in what this guy is doing, even if it seems like he’s doing it in slow motion. Shooting just after coming out of the holster is taught in just about every LE firearms course, I have to do it in my annual qualifier. This just just needs to be faster with this.

Is that last guy even aiming? Lets just spray in the target’s general direction whilst ninja scanning our rear. Some of those bullets gotta hit the badguy, right?

+1 on the “low speed, high drag” shirt. I’d buy one in every color.

Da fuq is a “Prime Fury”? And why is the prime fury guy engaging targets behind him without looking first?
