Magazine Shaped Weapon Cleaning Kit

This is an amazing idea:

Ooooo dat vintage Toyota corolla burnout. You can check out the Kickstarter here.  This new double stack version is a great follow up, giving guys more space.  You can read more about the product on his website.

I’ve known about the original Ms. Clean for a while.  The inventor (and veteran) Peter Palma is pretty active all over Instagram and is funny as hell.  He was actually also on Season 1 of that show Top Shot, if you think you recognize him from somewhere but can’t place it.  I see a lot of guys I e-know using his product and they have nothing but great things to say.

I Lol’d at the 2:54 when Dugan Ashley (Carnik Con) launched Skittles out of the double Ms. Clean.  Then I also saw he was wearing my AR-15 Builders Club shirt so I knew that had to be the post picture :P

hahah good stuff.

Thoughts?  If you were deployed, did your issued cleaning kit piss you off?

This is one of those ideas that is so basic that it’s brilliant.

Yes it is! LOL I don’t want to gank views from actual Carnik Con though. I’m not sure why Dugan pulled it from YouTube, but I’m sure it will be up shortly.

      1. It’s back up.

Thank you sir! I’ll post it tonight!

      2. Huh, so it was some jank ass rip some ass clown put on their own page…

  4. Holy shit, F3 Tactical, boss. I’ve got one of these cleaning kits. It is a nifty piece of equipment, and definitely useful on the range.

  5. It’s a good idea I guess? Really the regular cleaning kits or the Otis kits aren’t issues. Just stick it in your bag. I’ve never heard of anyone complaining about not having space for their cleaning kit. Most of the Marine Corps is still lugging around the A4 anyway (often with an ungodly amount of crap attached to it).

Good for him if it works out.

  6. Cool idea, but not something I really need anymore. My field cleaning kit was a green toothbrush, a small screw-top oil bottle, and a bore snake rolled up in an old t-shirt. We had a weapons cleaning tent that was stocked with solvent tanks, infinite cleaning rods, various jags and brushes, etc.

These days my “field kit” (that rides in my range bag) is the same, and I have a nice carbon fiber one-piece cleaning rod with one jag for each caliber and some various brushes. Their trauma kits and survival packs have far more appeal to me. No price tag on those yet, but I’m guessing it isn’t cheap, given the name brands shown in the picture. Probably worth it (the trauma kit anyway) if you shoot at steel and or compete a lot. I’ve seen two people get pretty nasty wounds from spall.

I’d like it just for the hard container use.

Also, that still of Dugan needs to be his thumbnail whenever you post his videos.

    Needs a bayonet attachment point.

The guy mispronounces ‘Ms.’ throughout the vid.

    Fail.

  11. My only issue would be to not confuse it with actual mags. I’d stick with a different color for it and placement away from mags. but overall, it look pretty good. Would operate with…
