SilencerCo Goes Hard To Win The Bro Demographic

Freeride mountain biker Cam Zink:

Fight the Noise is a movement to regain our Voice. To exercise our right to protect our hearing and silence the sound. To be responsible gun owners and be treated as such. We want law-abiding citizens to have the ability to purchase and own silencers without being subjected to excessive wait times, paperwork, and taxes. We are the silent majority, and it is our time to be heard. We are your Friends. We are your Coworkers. We are The Suppressed™.

Should I have known who that guy was prior to seeing the vid?  Regardless, he seems like a cool bro… would have beers with.  The commercial itself was definitely up to the usual high production value we have been seeing from SilencerCo lately.

You can head over to SilencerCo’s Fight The Noise website to read more.

Silencer-Fight-The-NoiseAre we going to be inundated with videos strategically aimed at absolutely every demographic now?  Judging by the pics on the website, I’m guessing yes haha.  I hope they do least a couple funny videos… like one for the #ForeverAlone basement dweller, and another for the Thots etc..

Thoughts?  (ahaha see what I did there?)

Good. Silencers have definitely made it into the mainstream. I see them at most gun shops, and that’s good for us. The more silencer owners we get, the more likely we are to get them out of the NFA. I realize that the ATF probably does not want to give up an ever increasing revenue stream, but there is no logical reason that we can’t walk into a gun shop and buy an SBR or a silencer like we do every other firearm article. The more we overload the NFA with sales, the more likely we are to get it repealed. Keep at it Silencerco.

For me, what I think is going to push me over the edge is the Sig MPX. I would love to buy one in its intended form; integrally suppressed SBR. I think it would make for a great home defense weapon, and I want one in the form in which it was engineered. However, the wait times are just killing me. I am thinking of just buying it in the pistol version so that I can at least have it in my hands, and then file my SBR paperwork.

  3. We’ve actually been looking for a basement dweller… are you available for an interview?

Video lacked use of Mountain Dew as bolt lubricant. 0/10 would not operate.

totally awesome, brah, but the whole tape over the mouth thing is cringeworthy.

  6. I do like his comment about it being like a car muffler, I’ll use that one next time.

    1. Also SilencerCo should have a separate branch that gets paid big bucks to make videos for other companies, they kill it every time.
