Larry Vickers Breaches OPSEC Reveals Crossfit And Caloriegate

Why Larry Vuitton is “fat”:

Reason: Three helicopter crashes, and being Delta AF every other second of his life. I ain’t mad at that. Get in that ass Larry.

4:15 – Larry does crossfit?!  Isn’t the first rule of cross fit to always talk about cross fit?  Next we’re going to find out that he’s vegan and has gay friends.  I guess Delta guys had to keep their mouth shut for OPSEC purposes though, so that’s why this is the first we’re hearing about crossfit.  Must have just got declassified by YouTube CENTCOM.  He probably switches crossfit gyms at the last minute now, messing up the whole itinerary and making the body doubles drive across town to the other gyms.

Larry-Vickers-Hover-SunglassesAddressing “Haters” is so overrated.  I’d hazard a guess that most of the people he thinks “hate” him, actually just say those things to troll him and get a reaction.  I could be wrong though. It bothers me when internet people think I hate them. Yeager is one who has mentioned that in the past. Yea I keep it a bit to real (harsh) with my criticisms of others sometime, I’ll be the first to admit that. Something I could definitely work on improving in my private life too.

Thoughts?

  1. Larry is asking a little much for people to look in the mirror and know that they gave more than they took. Like 50% of society does nothing but take and never gives a thing, except crime. They like to give crime.

If the dude’s reason for being overweight was that he had to constantly bust his ass hard in the Army and doesn’t want to do it anymore and loves bacon, I’d still respect it. The injury thing wasn’t even necessary for me.

  2. I wonder how many arfcommers survived three helo crashes, passed the Q course and busted a guy out of a notoriously brutal South American prison….

But they DO have quite a grooming and haberdashery forum

Who cares. He’s an old veteran. He can be fat if he wants.

Those crossfit chicks though. The thirst is real.

  4. At 52 most people will probably be overweight. His body is shot, beaten, and broken from years of abuse. All things considered he is in pretty good shape.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread (I kinda do) but wtf is up with Dugan shutting down Carnik Con? He posted it on IG a few hours ago

I sincerely hope you are trolling.

      1. Nope.

  6. this guys a hero . he spent his whole life working out , running and kicking ass. he deserves a twinkie or two imho

  7. So . . . I get that a lot of people that Crossfit talk about it too much. OK. Maybe that’s because Crossfit is a really hard workout routine, it actually shows results, and a lot of Crossfit gyms are supportive environments where people find value. Dangerous? I guess. Form is important in Crossfit and you need to be careful. On the other hand lots of shit worth doing is dangerous and form is important in lots of potentially dangerous things. With the pussification of so much of American society we should be glad.

    1. Thanks for proving the stereotype bro. But real talk, that Rich Froning Signature Cut T-Shirt Headband looks dope on you. What’s your Fran?

” Form is important in Crossfit ” in theory only. i want to be trained by someone who took a weekend cert and sees dollar signs rather than clients when someone signs up.

doing a workout that beats the shit out you, advocated by someone with little to no idea how to program, isn’t badass, it is dumb, and dangerous to newbs.

now, back to talking about Manca.

Did you just verb crossfit? That’s why this hits the mark: Two Crossfitters, One Chalk Bucket.

(Part 2 is even better, IMO.)

Or, to borrow from Kenny Powers: “Some of us play real sports. We’re not trying to be the best at exercising.”

Here’s the thing about Crossfit…gimics and fads tend to reach people that wouldn’t normally care about exercise. Good, bad or otherwise when you finally get your ass up off the couch, you’ll probably see some “results”. Thus, Crossfit isn’t a fucking miracle. It’s not difficult to create a workout that will drive anyone (regardless of fitness level) into the ground…vomiting, having your hands bleed from (what they call) “pull-ups” or not being able to walk for 4 days isn’t a good benchmark of a workout.

Truck it. I got out in 13 and was like too hell with exercise, and I never did a quarter of what Larry did

  9. He doesn’t own anyone an explanation. Age happens. Few people can stay in peak physical condition for their entire life. The keyboard commandos he’s addressing are not worth the time he took with this video.

Signed and agreed to every other comment here like this. LV doesn’t owe anyone a GD explanation for any of his life, he’s the f’in man and more of a credit to his country than anyone I personally know.

  10. The LAV keeping it real. Haters gonna hate.

  11. Chronic pain will make one fat, but at least LAV has some great stories, memories, and service behind his pain. Can’t fault him for that in the least. How many of us have the bodies in our middle-ages that we had in our prime?

  12. LAV keeping it real. You just have nothing to post so you painstakingly dissect a really good video.

It’s obvious when you guys don’t read what I post / maybe have never been here before. Making a single joke about crossfit is hardly a dissection. Oh let me guess, you do crossfit?

The only men who are super fit at 52 tend to be gay. NTTAWWT.

I’ve never been seriously injured during my short enlistment, so my fatness is my own laziness. Plus I don’t get yelled at by a sgt to run my ass around a track every morning. I don’t many vets who keep in Operating Operator shape after they get out, and I work with a lot of vets. Like he said, we gave our best years. Now pass the bacon.

I thought he is fat because he is an American?

I kid, I kid, I really like him. He seems like a chill guy + he has access to all the cool stuff both in the west and east.

I think Mark Rippetoe had the best response when people complained about him not being in great shape yet presuming to train people. Basically he said he had been training people for over 30 years so he gets paid for what he knows, not to have abz.
LV is the same way. We don’t care what he looks like, we want to pick his brain for a few hours on a weekend.

    1. Truth. Both of these guys have injuries, both are in their fifties, both know their shit. I don’t care about what they look like, just what they know. But hey, some people need to get turned on by the guy training them.

  16. Just watched the vid. Truck anyone who talks about Larry. Like can you even Delta Force bros?
On the subject of Crossfit when I was in the Marines they adopted something similar and opened a gym for it. Think Crossfit but safer and real pull ups I will say Larry has a point in terms of attitude among the people working out. I had people all the time showing me this or that, and it was more of a community than a bunch of guys working out.

  17. A guy I graduated high school with did 21 years in the army. A good portion of that as a ranger. I ran into him right after he got out. Still ship shape etc. Ran into him again two years later. very overweight, wearing overalls and a brightly colored tie dyed t-shirt, long hair, big beard and driving an old Volkswagen bus. Guess he was living a lie for 21 years. lol
