Taiwanese Operators Training For Low Tier Operations

So crucial:

Seriously guys.  The fact US training (mostly) overlooks the benefits of the strafing-while-shooting with alternating guys facing alternate directions spaced more than an arms length apart really grinds my gears.  LOL fml.

0:52 – Wow big surprise, someone took a round to the arm (I am told, according to the translation).  This is Sonny “Shoothouse” Puzikas levels of shocking!  I’ll be equally as shocked when Yeager’s down range camera man takes one for the team.

1:05 – “I’d like to apologize for the actions of these few.  They were being herbs and trying to emulate what they saw in some anime.  Please don’t judge us as a country based on the actions of these operators.  Thank you.”

I am told that the NSB is who had this accident and were doing the training (The NSB is apparently the Taiwanese equivalent to the FBI).

Cool story how the carry without one in the chamber too. *eye roll*  because that would be unsafe of course.  It’s obviously safety first with these guys hahahahha.

1:54 – That formation!  Charlie’s Angels-esque, I love it.

Taiwan-Operator-Shooting-TrainingThoughts?  I’m waiting for the “Mike… brah… the world is 360 degrees, that’s why they train like that.  Get off your fat cheeto stained ass and put some rounds down range maybe for once in your life.”

How lit are Taiwanese news graphics btw? Hot.

haha yea, got to! They need to do Sonny Puzikas style with the secondary shooting 90degrees of their primary too.

  2. If you had to do this double strafing exercise, why not do it with one row of cardboard no-shoots? If the too-cool-for-competition super operators would go to some matches, they’d see that there are a number of props that could be used to do the same training with far less risk.

Being in Taiwan, I’m not sure if there is even a significant IPSC presence, so maybe they have half an excuse for not knowing about range props. American schools that do stuff just like this have no excuse though.

Yea exactly. The risks people continue to take in order to look (in their minds) “cool” is unbelievable.

I… I don’t even know what the hell was going on there.

Had to turn the sound off. Then.

    It became clear.

I dunno–I could understand that instructor better than I do the famed Instructor Zero!

That said…can you imagine that formation under fire? Couple guys get hit and go down shooting, take out the rest of their team. And I wonder…why not, like, “everybody take two steps forward” so that they’re side by side or back to back as they prance sideways and shoot….

    Sheesh.

Hey…wait a second–they need to go to the next tier and emulate Scottish Tactical Puppies! Why go in a straight line when you could go in circles shooting through the gaps???

    ah, my heritage…

citizens dont have the right to bear arms (hence why airsoft is so popular)

I just hope they dont brain fart, flinch and start shooting at the people instead of in between them
