Bill Maher Fires Shots At Gun Owners Over Tim McGraw Sandy Hook Benefit

Ok so Sandy Hook Promise is anti-gun?  I can’t keep all these damn organizations straight, especially when they try to finesse me over at their websites.  Maybe Tim got finessed?  The devil is in the details I know.

I don’t really know the point that dude in the glasses is trying to make… he’s trying too hard though.  LOL Eddie Huang from VICE is on there.  Nice.

Blonde girl says “the problem is not bad guys with guns, the problem is good guys with guns who use them on themselves”…. eeeeeeehhhhhhh.  Really… so it’s a “gun” problem?  Because there aren’t 10 million other ways for these people to commit suicide?

Brunette girl with the shitty haircut knows what’s up… “the problem is mental health”, which she gets applause for but then gets shit on by blonde girl saying “It’s access to guns that is the problem”. Wat?

Wait for it…. wait for it:

3:38 – “The problem is that 1/3 of the country is a bunch of fucking rednecks” -Bill Maher

SHOTS FIRED.  *sirens* *butthurt cleanup on asile 3*  LOL screw you Bill.

Cue the following comments: “Sandy Hook was a hoax”, “Jet fuel can’t melt steel beams”, “Bush did 9/11”, “Browning did 1911″… Yea I added the last one because I still crack myself up over it, and you can buy the shirt at ENDO Apparel if you wish.

Thoughts?

Actually, the guy with the glasses is probably the smartest guy there (not that the room was full of high IQs or anything resembling intelligence). He was making an excellent point about the the fact that the lobbyists have the power that they have because of the people behind their movement, and that the politicians are very much aware of how they vote on guns and how the people in their district feel about guns. And then he gets cut off by the blondie who interjects that the NRA has SOOO much money (bad, bad, evil NRA!!).

Yes, they have money, and influence, little girl. And that’s because they have a massive amount of PEOPLE who support them, and PEOPLE who vote. Which is exactly what the guy in the glasses was saying, if you’d listen. Actually, if the four other people in the room were to shut their mouths for more than a minute, they might actually learn something and raise their IQs above room temperature.

And I want to see the footage Eddie Huang references, and I call bullshit on his statement until then.

  4. Fuck this guy! He was dead to me, when I heard him say this! – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp_u4y26Kss

The thorny thing about the second amendment is that, in order to truly “do something” about it, you have to send real human beings around to collect those pesky tools. I’m not signing up for that job.

Wow, so he’s all for dismantling the 2nd AND the 4th Amendment? That’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve heard all day, possibly all decade.

Holy that’s unbelievable! Seems like he has a case of the “Piers Morgan” disease where saying stupid / controversial things keeps him on air.

Freedom is dangerous. That’s wwhat makes it beautiful.

If you want to be a prissy dandy, smoking weed all day, having random sex, living in a human zoo with no responsibilities …that’s a personal problem.

Some of us haven’t forgotten that we are just another form of animal. That we don’t belong in cages.

I’m not a redneck. But I’m not a housebroken male either.

Nothing as long as you work and don’t rely on other people like they do

‘They’ as in the potheads who are creating a multi million dollar industry and making a change in drug policy? That doesnt seem lazy or dependent…

  6. Lol sure bill that 1/3 is also college students, veterans, police, teachers, doctors, farmers…I could go on. Also I thought we’re passed all this grouping and stereotyping or does that apply only to west and east coast?

    1. I love how the left is all about them some minorities until it comes to gun owners.

The gun community is full of people that are dangerous and careless with weapons. People’s ego get too involved when the weapons come out.

Suicide is not an issue of access to guns, it is way too complex an issue to oversimplify like that.

I also call BS on Huang’s claim.

The left does not have the burden of conscience, thus they will say whatever is necessary in order to advance an agenda. I could list endless examples. For example, “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.”

Lastly, Sandy Hook was a hoax. I can’t believe people still don’t understand that.

  8. Billy made a career of being “outrageous”. In the mid 80s, he was slightly funny and very edgy for the times. Now, he’s an aging hipster still trying to pick up 19-year-old gamer girls at the Farmer’s Market downtown by spouting this crap. Like someone else said already, if we ignore him, he’ll go away just like most of MSNBC.

i tire of hating on people. rednecks are the problem, lets put them in interment camps. republicans are evil, lets burn them at the stake. limousine liberals are the problem ship them to an island. keeps us distracted from actually effecting meaning change, whatever that is.

like Lemmy said, it doesn’t matter who you vote for, you still end up with the government.

I do not listen when Bill Maher spews shit forth from his mouth about guns. He is a self proclaimed gun owner and has a carry permit, but I guess that only famous rich people are allowed that “right.”
