Enter the Gungeon is a gunfight dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past. Select a hero and battle your way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable Gundead and fearsome Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth. Gather precious loot, discover hidden secrets, and chat with opportunistic merchants and shopkeepers to purchase powerful items to gain an edge.
LOL @ “a gun that can kill the past”. It’s amazing how far we have come in terms of processing power, yet 8-bit looking games are still being made because they are so much fun. Reminds me of playing Zelda and Megaman, and old Mario games on my gameboy. If I played games still, I’d definitely get this one when it comes out. Looking like sometime in 2016 according to the Steam page.

I know one of you guys is going to have new girl back to the crib sometime and give her the “tour” and you’ll think you’re smooth by saying “Come downstairs and I’ll show you my gungeon”. At that point she will have slowly started backing away before making a run for it and calling the cops on you.
