Hole Shot Pistol Sights Are Confusing At Best

I don’t understand this at all. It’s for “fast target acquisition” apparently:

Like… what? Huh?  I wish I could find them on the Diamond Head website for an explanation, but I can’t… they must be SHOT show exclusive right now.  Lucky you guys that are there.

I was sitting here trying to figure out the possible use of that semi-circle area, and that top red dot… I’m still not really sure since it’s only one dot.  If there were two dots they could do something like calibrate them for bullseye at 200 yards type tomfoolery. I mean I guess they could still say that for the one dot, but it would be kind of weird setting one dot on top of another rather than in between. But they say they are for fast target acquisition, so I just have no idea guys.

Thoughts?  Is this so innovative and next level that I can’t even wrap my mind around it?  Are semi-circle triple dots going to be the hottest thing in rear aftermarket pistol sights for 2019?
