Giveaway

14 copies of the awesome new book up for grabs:

Chris-Kyle-American-Gun-Book

At the time of his tragic death in February 2013, former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the top sniper in U.S. military history, was finishing one of the most exciting missions of his life: a remarkable book that retold American history through the lens of a hand-selected list of firearms. Kyle masterfully shows how guns have played a fascinating, indispensable, and often underappreciated role in our national story.

“Perhaps more than any other nation in the world,” Kyle writes, “the history of the United States has been shaped by the gun. Firearms secured the first Europeans’ hold on the continent, opened the frontier, helped win our independence, settled the West, kept law and order, and defeated tyranny across the world.”

Filled with an unforgettable cast of characters, Chris Kyle’s American Gun is a sweeping epic of bravery, adventure, invention, and sacrifice.

Here’s how it will go down:  I’ll be giving away 4 copies here on the blog, 5 on Instagram, and 5 on Facebook.  Only enter each giveaway once, but you can enter all of them if you wish.  If you happen to be randomly selected as a winner for more than one though you’ll only be getting one book, and I’ll redraw.

How To Enter:

I will be using random.org to pick winners sometime this week.  The books will be shipped out to the lucky 14 by the gracious publisher William Morrow / Harper Collins.

Strikemark reminded me that they sent a mount my way back in 1985… So I dug up some pictures:

My primary weapon system in all its glory:

This was state of the art back in ’85.  The amount of combat/operations footage I got with the pictured setup was unreal.

Lots more pictures after the break.
