Starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle:

American-Sniper-Movie-Bradley-CooperHoly he sure looks the part, his accent is on point too.

Interesting clip they picked for the trailer.  I bet so many people that see it are like “Ew he shot kids?  Why didn’t he just shoot the grenade out of the kid’s hand?” *face palm*

I’m curious if the timeline of this movie will cover right up to his death.  Anyone know?

Clint Eastwood is the director of the movie too, so hopefully the quality and authenticity will be there.

I don’t know if Chris Kyle had a sense of humor or not, but if he did that would be so awesome if Zach Galifianakis was in the movie in a supporting role.

A soldier brought this bronze bust home from Iraq in 2003:

17 inches in height, it formed part of a 15 ft. statue of Saddam.

Lucky guy he was able to get this back to the US.  I wonder what his rank was?  If it wasn’t high up I imagine he really had to hide this thing due to its potential worth. Sure sounds like it will be a nice payday for him and his family wow.

If I had hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank I’d buy it.  I’d probably build a fountain where a soldier or a cherub was peeing on his head just for kicks.

I posted a preview video before, this is the actual trailer:

fury-brad-pittLooks well done.  Good cast.  I know a lot of you are pissed off Shia LaBeouf is in it though. Out of everyone they could have cast instead, I think it’s weird they picked him too… I’ll save my judgement until I see how he is when I see it though.

Thoughts?  Looking better than ever?

First look at a new movie about a WWII tank unit:

fury-brad-pittGreat cast, and looks like it will be a great story.  I’ll have to watch this one.

A “Second a day” video compilation:

Just because it isn’t happening here, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

So as you can see little miss silver spoon decided to sulk about shit getting REAL, rather than loading up some mags, grabbing her rifle and doing something about the situation.  *smh* kids these days.

I-Declare-War-TrailerIn all seriousness, It’s really sad to think how war totally ruins the carefree childhood every kid should have. It’s not like kids (and adults most often too) can just pack up their stuff and move to a safer place.

The video is from a organization called Save The Children. They promise that 89% of all donated money goes to actual programs to help the kids, so I like that idea.

Future military version of groundhog day:

I like the exo-skeletons and the quad tilt rotor craft!

Tom Cruise: “I’m not a soldier”
Emily Blunt: “Of course you’re not… you’re a weapon”

Edge-of-Tomorrow-PosterLooks like it could be decent.  I’m not that big of a Tom Cruise fan, but I’m sure he’ll be alright in it.

In theaters June 6, 2014.
