.22 LR

Demolition Ranch with some more redneck science:

Ranch-DressingI see this being the new national pass time for bad news youth in the hood this summer. Lucky .22 LR is hard to get. ;)

Like Ranch said, theoretically the bullet wouldn’t be traveling very fast at all since it’s not inside any sort of chamber or barrel. How about a Bic pen? That’s a lot stiffer the probably about the same diameter.

22Plinkster makes it look easy:

22plinkster-YouTubeHoly that guy can shoot.

500 yard hits with anything is impressive.  Keep in mind this is a small caliber handgun with regular non-magnified sights.

Mattv2099 working out the menu for his upcoming gun related restaurant:

Mattv2099-ENDO-Trollture-TrollingThat batter looked good… reminds me I need to make crepes again soon.  After seeing the video I likely won’t put .22 LR in them though… maybe I’ll try .50 BMG.  I figure since it’s centerfire it must be safer.

He got some good camera angles!  That’s A LOT of hot oil flying everywhere.  Glad he came out unscathed.

Was anyone else surprised at the results?

Mattv2099 puts in the recoil spring upgrade kit and tests it out:

WOW!  4 full magazines… I’m seriously impressed considering it couldn’t even get through 3 shots in his previous tests without jamming.

I still cringe every time I see someone charge one of these things… what an “interesting” design.

Mattv2099-Standard-302:45 –  Matt has a girl there with him *DAT SHADOW*.  When’s she going to be operating in video operations Matt?  I’m assuming she likes Glock brand Glocks?  Hopefully.

Thoughts?  Would operate with a Zip gun?  Even get a few tax stamps to mount them all around your AR15 quadrail?

Moneybags Mattv2099 throws 250 rounds of .22LR in his mom’s blender and hits the button:

Mattv2099-ENDO-Trollture-TrollingI actually thought more of the rounds would go off, and it would be a lot more unsafe… not that I’m going to try this anyway.  I’m so glad there are youtube gun scientists like Matt to answer the burning questions we all have.

Lucky he can write trolling off on his taxes.

This is my life:

I often get several of those types of emails per day.  I know some of you guys are subscribed to the Civilian Marksmanship Program .22LR bulk sale post just for the LULz, so seeing these questions is not new to you.

I’m convinced this is the process:

  1. Sees picture of .22LR brick
  2. Thinks “AHHHHHH I NEED .22LR”
  3. Looks for my email address for 10 seconds rather then taking 5 seconds to read the post
  4. Spends 20 seconds writing email on how they can purchase said ammunition from me

I used to get a lot of emails from people wanting to buy a Glock 18 too.  Some of them were downright shady, others you could tell were foreigners, and some just seemed to be clueless of the rules.

It’s tough work running a blog sometime haha. :P
