.22Plinkster is back at it:
This video is cool, but if you’re familiar with .22Plinkster it isn’t that surprising. It’s basically common knowledge now that whatever bizarre shooting scenario he sets up, he happens to hit it within a try or two. It’s pretty incredible.
Thoughts? CoNtEnT in the gun world (the type I’d talk about anyways) has been a bit slow post-SHOT, but I’m sure it will pick right back up.

Yes I know it’s a qUaDcOpTeR not a drone. I imagine that irritates the quadcopter crowd as much as the clip vs magazine things irritates the gun crowd (or just me anyways).

PROTECT THE BEES AT ALL COSTS. That said, the hole boring would get crazy annoying… I had no idea there was such thing as carpenter bees, and that they did that. $10K on the railing?… that’s a check.

COMMENTThe real takeaway here is that he’s wearing my 22LR Is A Gateway Drug t-shirt. I still think it’s wild that he doesn’t have any other job than YouTube / shooting, but after all it’s 2017… people do way more surprising stuff than that for a living.
1:50 – Talk about demonetization; YouTube earnings down 90%. At least he doesn’t seem to really care that much though because he says YouTube isn’t his primary source of income. He refuses to open up a Patreon account, which is definitely noble of him. I’m guessing his primary source of income is the sponsorship deals he has then. Solid of him to say to donate to his friends instead.

Every 22 Plinkster video I now see, I’m like *thinking face* “You can quit your job and make videos this simple to pay the bills and ensure a comfortable retirement? Astounding.”
Call me a hater if you want guys… 22 Plinkster seems like a nice guy but these videos are weak now by any measure. He used to shoot swinging dimes dead center at like 19000 yards while standing on one leg, looking in a mirror, while using a shake weight. That was impressive. Now he just lines up balloons on a clothes line and gets one of his friends to play guitar in the background, shoots a few cans of radioactive cheese etc. hmmmmm.

Cool cool. Every time I see a 22plinkster video though I wonder how with only ~318,000 subscribers he could quit his job and do YouTube full time. A few YouTube guys I trust and talk to on a regular basis who have several times more subscribers do not make enough off YouTube to not keep their day job. *shrug* Well good for 22plinkster anyway, he seems like a nice guy I hope Federal and Henry are dropping stacks of hundreds every day on him.
