.308

I knew that was going to be good when it started with him fake-clearing his ALpHa throat and addressing the SnOwfLaKeS:

Whoever writes the script for these ads needs to start writing sheepdog fan fiction cringe for me.

I’m still not entirely sure why this pistol needs to exist.  Do people need their AR-10 to say “SAINT” on the side of it?  Unless you’re wearing this for protection at church and want to make the snack ladies giggle (I was trying to think of another church term but couldn’t… choir ladies maybe?) then I don’t really see why you’d want that word on a gun.

Thoughts?  Looking at the comments of the YouTube video, you’d think Springfield invented ARs chambered in 308.

9mm and .308, not the .300 BLK R.I.P. Ammo I blogged about yesterday:

So FPS thinks it’s a “very deadly self defense round (1:30)” even though the general consensus is that it’s a marketing gimmick.  Cool barely-even-putting-effort-into-forcing-the-accent story bro.  He’s got a white lab coat on though, so he must know what he’s talking about.

RIP-AmmunitionThat Kriss Sphinx looks pretty cool.  I haven’t really heard anything about them, but from some quick google searches they appear to be in the HK price range of $1000+. Meh, anything special about them I should be made aware of?

Pretty much a useless video besides a couple seconds of cool slow motion.

Highjak86 with the .223 and .308:

Highjak86I love how wimpy .223 is compared to .308 … too bad .308 is so much more expensive to shoot.

Jordan is wearing the Tactical As _ _ _ _ t-shirt from ENDO Apparel up until 1:26 when he decides to gay it up and get 1/2 naked because it was “hot out”.  At least he didn’t get out the tactical shears and make daisy dukes out of those jeans.  haha just bugging you Jordan, you need a tan anyway… at least you’re an even blinding white and don’t have a farmer tan like I do though.

Known as “Project Titan”.  This thing is a BEAST:

The obvious downside is weight.  According to the project titan website the shroud is built from steel.  Because of the weight, muzzle rise is a non issue, so that makes for quicker followup shots.

I’m not entirely sure this will be hugely popular when it’s released, but it’s definitely a neat idea for long range shooting.
