18 .22 LR Rounds BUZZIN out the front:

Damn I almost forgot about those things!  Last I blogged about a .22LR beehive / hornet’s nest adapter was back in October 2009.  Some of you guys probably weren’t even born yet.  I say that half joking, but I also know from IG that I do have some very young fans.  Do any of them read the blog though?  I feel like if I asked one of them, they would be like “haha a blog?  OK BOOMER… 😂”

3:34 – Accuracy is trash, and the rounds keyholed as expected from the little short non rifled barrels.  He mentions there is also a rifled version called a “dirty dozen” (12 rifled barrels in it).  I’d buy that off the name alone.. too good.

4:58 – Cool footage of him shooting the high velocity rounds.  They actually patterned a lot better too.  Probably because the rounds are higher quality.  I remember for years and years I only used to shoot Winchester 555 bulk packs, then once I got older I was like “maybe I should try out some more expensive .22LR for the heck of it, see how it compares?”.  Night and day difference in every aspect, from care taken in making the bullets themselves to the accuracy you get out of them.

7:52 – haha the chalk round looks so badass flying through the air.  I like how he said you can 3D print your own refills.

I googled the Hunting4Connections thing he had set up at the bottom of the screen.  Their tagline is “The online dating solution for people who live an Outdoor Lifestyle.“.. honestly I’m not mad at it.  Seems like a great idea, as long as there’s a way to filter out girls who wear RealTree + ride horses + like hunting… that’s 3 of 4 solid components to make up a life ruiner.  I’m just looking out for you fellas.

Thoughts?  I hadn’t heard of this Going Ballistic guy before Tom sent me him.  Looking at his past vids, he basically a non-annoying version of Edwin Sarkissian.  Looks like the rest of the world hasn’t caught on yet though because Going Ballistic is currently sitting at 93700 subs compared to Edwin’s 3.59 million.

Richard Ryan snaps with this one:

Richard-Ryan-Deagle-ShirtRegarding the beginning of the video… who the hell doesn’t wear a seatbelt in 2015?  I’m sure people have various reasons, but I’m guessing they are all bad.  I used to get so mad when the seatbelt on my Honda Civic would lock when I went to shoulder check to change lanes, but I still wore it.

With the price of .50 BMG I hate to even thing what 40mm goes for.  I probably just got watch listed googling the price of it just now, whoops haha jk ;).

1:27 – The energy transfer to the keg is glorious.

Some recent derp from the Chicago Tribune:

Close… but not quite guys.  LOL  For the last 10 minutes I’ve been trying to jam a bayonet into that sling mount point, but no luck.  I’m actually surprised they didn’t say the gun would fire knives that were placed there.

At least they didn’t try and say grenades were easy to get, and worse yet talk about 37mm as if they were the same as 40mm launchers.

Thoughts?

Oh wait… never mind, just a couple AR-15s and a 37mm flare launcher *facepalm*:

Seattle Police said they recovered a grenade launcher and automatic weapons in their Thursday night raid of a house in Eastlake. Officers found two AR-15 assault rifles, one of which was equipped with a military style grenade launcher.

Good work guys… *slow clap* I know i’ll sleep better tonight knowing a recreational firework launcher is off the streets.

Downtime in the military looks painful:

The saftey nazi in me noted that the magazine was still in the shooters rifle.   Was it loaded? Maybe, maybe not?  Either way, with only 2 triggers to pull on that gun, id rather be 100% sure that the only one which could possibly discharge a round, would be the non-lethal one.

Kind of reminds of of the getting shot on purpose bullet proof vest incident… although not quite as stupid.

Any of you guys ever done (or witnessed) anything thing like this?
