Segment from CNBC:

/p>

1:08 – Lucas Botkin from TREX.  I heard him talk about this appearance on his Art & War podcast episode recently.  I’ve listened to a few episodes now, including the one with the homie Print Shoot Repeat.  Good gun industry pod, if you’re looking for one.

5:05 – The gun industry in America is a $36 billion business

5:12 – US firearm manufacturers produced 11.1 million guns in 2020 😲, up from 5.4 million in 2015

8:03 – The narrator mentions that one of the cases against firearm marketing is the “potential exposure to children, or those under the age of 18”.  Video games and movies do that better than any firearms company could ever want to or hope to directly through their own ads.

9:25 – The Apple revolver to watergun emoji change was so lame.  People use it for the exact same purpose.

Similar to his website, branding and mustache, this video also looks like it was made in the 80s:

Ignatius-Piazza-Pizza-Front-SightThis ad didn’t air obviously, but Pizza thought he would jump on the Daniel Defense “lets make an ad that we know won’t be accepted, just for the publicity” bandwagon.  The ad definitely DOES suck as much as the Daniel Defense one, so Pizza has that going for him, but unfortunately he only has ~15,000 views on his video compared to ~250,000 for the Daniel Defense one.

<– Remember when I made the Ignatius Pizza? LOLz I crack myself up.

Moms Demand Action x Mayors Against Illegal Guns:

If the underlying message of this video was that we need to figure out how to stop these shootings by fixing the system through early/proper diagnosis of mental health issues, then I could get behind that.  Moms Demand Action is nothing more than a useless “BAN ALL GUNS” organization though.  They are sneaky / derpy with their videos and other advertising campaigns, but ultimately that is their goal.  You probably remember that they were at the forefront of the complaining to Starbucks that guns in their stores hurt poor widdle feelings.  I see on the Moms Demand Action website now they are bother Staples to “take a stand and prohibit firearms” in all their stores because of some shooting at a Staples in North Carolina.  Clearly guns and office supplies don’t mix… I have a pack of sharpies near my Glocks I should probably go move right now in fact.

Is a December 14th moment of silence really a thing they will make kids do at school?  If so, that would have scared the shit out of me.  “Hey class… last year some psycho walked in a school just like this one and slaughtered 20 kids just like you.  please sit here and think about that for a minute.”

Hair care product company Garnier Fructis had me fooled for a second.  For those of you still scratching your heads, notice there’s a girl cozied up to each one of those guys.  ;)

The ads are by Swiss company Publicis.  When people ask if Garnier rock, I say Belieeeeeee’ dat.

I’m not buying it:

That’s his office?  Heh right… looks like a set somewhere.  I don’t believe anything this guy does anymore.  I find it hard to believe a 26 year old guy with lots of money would have a dingy office with wood paneling, a mainly empty suspicious looking cabinet,  and zero stuff on the walls.  You never know though… I’ve been wrong once or twice before haha. :P

The NY reload holster (holster for two guns) is pretty neat.  The point of the video seems to be advertising for those companies he mentioned.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but why treat your viewers like idiots and pretend that “i’m just showing you comrades around the office”?

Trolling? Or are they just stupid?  It’s getting harder and harder for me to tell:

I don’t know what’s worse… the fact those revolvers shot the whole cartridge, or that they are trying to hawk those ridiculous looking shoes.
