This is unbelievable:

I can’t even believe someone could make a shot like that.  22Plinkster could make a living from making outrageous bets with people at ranges across the world.  “Bet you $1000 I could shoot a leg off this ant from 1000 yards”   Other guy:  “HA lets make it interesting… $2000”   22Plinkster: *pew* *direct hit* “Pay up”

22plinkster-YouTubeIt’s really too bad that Top Douchebag is being cancelled before 22Plinkster got a chance to show up and mop the floor with all of them all while being his likable and cordial self.

The gun store guys give it a try:

Interesting.  I wish everyone that did this type of thing had a high speed camera.

They go off on a pretty big tangent about cut shells for a bit, but the DIY for the arrow rounds at 6:34 is worth watching to see what they did.

Thoughts?  Any of you guys ever do something similar?

Why? Because he can:

Because of the crappy portrait style video from far away I can’t really 100% tell what’s going on.  It looks to me like there’s some type of plunger at the back of the shotgun, which is likely in contact with the firing pin.  The cable then whacks that and… BOOM.

Am I totally wrong?  Let me know in the comments.

Shotguns are so pedestrian… where’s the .50 BMG compound bow conversion?

I didn’t know this sport existed before I saw this video:

  • Random person hiking through the woods:  “Whatcha shooting at?”
  • Hunter: “Dragonflies”
  • Random person: 0.O “uhhhhhhh…”

That’s pretty much how it would go.  People just don’t get the thrill of the hunt.  Just make sure you don’t take more than your dragonfly license allows… I’ve seen guys get crazy fines for bagging too many.

I have an insatiable hunger for dragonfly meat. *scratches neck furiously*

This girl is about to make some bodies turn cold:

She even holds her bow at 45 degrees like a gangster.  Because of that I know Iza Privezenceva will regulate anyone that steps to her.

I wouldn’t want to be the camera man at 40+ seconds.  Iza should know better though because shes violating a cardinal rule of bow & arrow safety.

  1. All bows are always loaded
  2. Never let the arrow cover anything you are not willing to destroy
  3. Keep your strong hand from pulling back the string until your eyes are on target
  4. Be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.

It’s pretty clear we have to ban high capacity assault quivers, and automatic assault bows.

Although this mini crossbow is quite a bit cooler than the same persons mini cannon, I still find it difficult to get excited about stuff like this.  The camera work and the music is so damn boring, that doesn’t help matters for me either.

Figured some of you guys would like it though.
