automatic

Some football bro (Chris Ballard?) has an opinion:

Wow.  The more I see stuff like this online, and hear people talking in person I’m pretty sure that a large percentage of Americans actually think you can just walk into a gun store and buy AUTOMATIC guns.

The stupidest sentences known to man are always preceded by “I’m not anti-gun but..”

Products currently haunting my dreams:

The gun industry continues to astonish me (in a derpy bad way).  WHOSE MANS ARE THESE?

Simulated automatic rates of fire with all your semi-automatic guns.  Oh man… that video and product though.

☑️ Made by veterans.  That’s always used as a flex to sell more product.  I’m surprised more veterans aren’t actually trying to actively distance themselves from shit ideas.

I almost fell off my chair when I saw that huge thing attached to the glove and going inside the trigger guard.

0:52 – ROFL look at the other side… look at how it works.  Incredible.

Here’s a closer look at how it works:

This is selling for $300 (early bird special $50 off LOL) on the AutoGlove website.

This is obviously made to circumvent NFA laws, that’s no surprise nor is it hidden on their website.

Not sure if serious. Thoughts?

Meh:

“Dangerous” to who?  I think is the first question that needs to be answered.  Everyone who shot in the video, even the apparent “newbies” were obviously given instruction on how to stand properly and what to expect.  To say that an automatic firearm isn’t any more dangerous than a semi auto when it comes to controllability is just false, considering the barrage of bullets doesn’t let up while you’re finger is on the trigger of an automatic.  If you fall, get scared when the recoil hits etc… are all factors that could turn ugly quick for you or people in the general area, which wouldn’t happen nearly as easy with semi auto.  I don’t think automatic firearms should be effectively banned by the government (like they are), but I do think that another level of reasoning and instruction has to go into giving yours to someone to shoot, so terrible incidents like this 9 year old killing her instructor at the shooting range with an auto UZI can be avoided.  Because of everyone’s negligence and stupidity that little girl has to live with that now *smh*.

Come-And-Take-ItSide note, the regulation of automatic weapons was obviously originally meant to curb crime done with them.  So scumbags couldn’t dump hundreds if not thousands of rounds at the underarmed cops so easily.  I don’t normally like to side with gun legislation, but didn’t this law actually work?  I can’t even remember a shooting where the shooter had an auto, or even a illegally converted semi-auto.  Fill me in if my facts are wrong, or call me names if I just pointed out a gun law that actually worked and you hate me for it.  If any of your guys in Law Enforcement here are catching bad guys with autos, I’m curious to know that as well.

Andrew from GY6 gets it done:

Glock-CommandmentsThat mag drop / spin he did at 0:42 is the shooting equivalent of the comedy mic drop.  A non verbal “I just shit on your whole everything, and disrespectfully I’m out like a thief in the night bitches!”.

I still don’t know about all those g2research rounds, but HOLY they look nasty when expanded.

Thoughts? Do you guys like the auto M&P or the auto XDs better?… oh whoops my bad, only Glock is awesome enough to make an auto handgun out of all the major players haha.

Automatic weapons are SOOOOOooo easy to buy says Don Lemon:

Assault-Rifle-Because-I-Am-BlackPffft it’s all semantics bro, he says.  I really don’t think that guy realized he was wrong, and the guy on the right had that grin and was nodding “yes” when Don Lemon was trying to school the middle guy.

This is bordering on “Shoulder Thing That Goes Up” epicness, but not quite as epic since it’s not like Don is a senator or anyone important.  This was the first time in my life I’ve ever seen that guy, so I googled him and turns out he’s a “journalist” (haha yea that makes perfect sense) and a CNN anchor (even more sense).

A boring video of it in action:

1:03 – OMG someone punch that guy in the dick and show him how to properly remove a round from a magazine by sliding it forward with your thumb. I realize what he’s doing does in fact work.. but it’s painful to watch. I’ve never seen anyone do it that way.

You can read more about this machine over at Primatic.

Like-A-SirHahha what a complicated machine to accomplish such a mundane task.  I like the idea of a full magazine being loaded in less than 9 seconds though.  Really, a speed loader like the LULA does a quick / excellent job and only costs around $25.  No word on the price of this automatic thing, but as they say “If you have to ask, you can’t afford it”.

Ugh “BULLETS per magazine”… seriously… “bullets”?  What kind of rookie operation is this?  I’m fully expecting all the guys in the comments with the talk about “clip.. magazine… bullets.. cartridges… it makes no difference. Semantics bRAH.” to jump on me.  Yes it does make a difference.. you sound like a rube talking about your clips with bullets in them, so if that’s what you’re going for then by all means disregard the actual names.

And what’s this 29 not 30 bullshit?  Like Biggie Smalls said Don’t fill them clips too high / give them bullets room to breathe amirite fellas?  I know some operators say 29 so there less tension when you’re initially trying to seat the magazine.
