California Sen. Leland Yee Arrested – LOLz To The Max At The Irony

Oh wow this is too good:

The same guy who wanted to ban “assault weapons” and bullet buttons in trouble for firearms trafficking and a slew of other crimes.

He was charged with conspiracy to traffic in firearms without a license, and to illegally import firearms as well as a scheme to defraud citizens of honest services.

Yee and Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow, leader of the Chee Kung Tong Free Masons in San Francisco, were among 26 defendants charged in the federal criminal complaint Wednesday.

If convicted on all charges, Yee could face more than 100 years in prison. His bail was set at $500,000, unsecured, with the provision that he not leave the state. He was released from custody late Wednesday afternoon.

LOL “Shrimp Boy”, what an epic nickname.  I need to know the story behind that.

Looks like the Brady Campaign fails again. They honored Yee in 2006 for violence prevention.

mr-chow-hangover-did-you-dieThoughts?  I can’t say I’m surprised… he seemed like a slimeball to me from the beginning.  There are a lot of details about this case still emerging, but all I know is it all looks real shady.

Neutered Capacity Magazines Could Get You Killed

Because 7 or 10 rounds isn’t enough sometime:

Jokes aside, the video did a fine job of illustrating the point… I felt it could have been 30 seconds long rather than 2 minutes though.  People that are against regular capacity magazines and for gun control need to start seeing this type of commercial on TV thrown into rotation with the regular commercials they are used to seeing… then it might cause some change.

gang-starr-full-clipI applaud the effort of the “production company” that made this.  I see they are trying to raise $1,000,000 dollars on indiegogo for a TV series, LOL’d good luck with that.  I suppose stranger things have happened.  Contribute if you’re interested, because it’s off to a real slow start.

Cartoonists Demand Action – Plans Officially Suck And Are Old News

Obviously the “demand a plan” thing failed… so now they are just skipping straight to demanding action:

Watch it in 1080P, Visually stunning… I don’t know who most of those cartoonists are, but their work is pretty unique for the most part.

I was agreeing with the video at first because I thought it was pointing out how many defenseless people get killed.  Troll successful.  Just kidding… I knew I was being trolled. Too bad we couldn’t troll back in the comments, not that I blame them for blocking them.  The vid is narrated by Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julianne Moore, if you’re looking for two more actors to boycot.  Some of you guys won’t be able to watch a hollywood movie if it isn’t starring Bruce Willis, Brad Bitt, or Angelina Jolie. haha  I’ll tell you what, if Philip Seymour Hoffman comes out with a BBQ sauce, I’ll boycott the shit out of that.

Williams-Sonoma Ban Assault Pressure Cookers

If it only saves one life…

Williams-Sonoma, the specialty retailer of home furnishings and gourmet cookware with over 250 stores in the United States, has pulled pressure cookers from their shelves following the Boston Marathon bombing.

“It’s a temporary thing out of respect,” said Kent, who is the Store Manager of the Williams-Sonoma at the Natick Mall. He referred Patch to corporate for further questions. Williams-Sonoma also has a local branch at Legacy Place in Dedham.

Pressure cookers will still be available on the Williams-Sonoma website.

Crate & Barrel is still selling pressure cookers in their stores, according to Elizabeth who is the General Manager of the location at the Natick Mall. (Full Story)
