Oh man… this industry ūüėā:

What you fellas are looking at is called Grip Knife. ¬†As expected, there’s no real info on their website… nor is there any real info on their facebook either. ¬†This is pretty standard as we know by now. ¬†One of the comments by the company on their facebook page says the price will be in the “$300 – $400 range”. AHHAHAHAH ūüėā.

Here’s the product description:

The Modern-day Bayonet: Designed to be easily mounted on any weapon’s tactical rail system as a foregrip that can instantly transform into a knife for use in survival situations, and other emergency scenarios. Ideal for military-style carbines in close-quarter situations such as: urban engagements, inside vehicles, home defense, or in any other place where space is confined or in case of a gun malfunction. The speed at which one can now deploy an edged weapon has never been any easier or faster, making Gripknife the foregrip of choice.

“It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.”

One of the most bizzare things about this product / design is the way you deploy it.  You hit the push button to the right of the G logo and it drops down.  Looks IDEAL for potentially cutting your thumb wide open as shown in their own demo video:

I bet the Bayonext guys are PIIIIIIIISSED. ¬†I bet they wanted to be the only “modern day” weapon mounted pokey thing. ¬†Good news is if you’re a tru pie hitter you can always run a combination of several of both.

This raises the bar for DERP… Impressive this early into 2014:

The MBX is an innovative system (patent pending) that allows the operator to deploy various tools for combat or utility more efficiently than ever. In non-combat scenarios, other proprietary attachments (i.e. glassbreaker / seatbelt cutter) can be deployed using the magazine as a handle without the sidearm.

Seriously? ¬†Yea we’ve seen gun mounted knives before… but not like this.

0:06 – “When seconds mean lives, do you really want to compromise control of your sidearm to reach for a knife” – I see that sentiment and raise you “Do you really want to manipulate a knife attached to the baseplate of your handgun’s magazine?”

0:09 – Super serious demo begins here.

0:12 – Oh shit, he just brought his hand back and clipped the knife in somehow? ¬†I bet that’s patented! ¬†Nothing that cool and effective isn’t patented! *eye roll*

0:32 – LOLOLOL for real.

0:40 РSweet workspace manipulations brAH.  That door frame is DONE. SON.

0:46 – Super realistic demo.

0:50 РSee how easy it is to remove and put back on?  SEE!? SEEEEEEE?!

1:15 РOh thank god they are coming out with a picatinny rail version!  I was looking for someplace unobtrusive to mount my 12-42x Nightforce scope and rape whistle.

Handgun-Magazine-Mounted-Bayonet-Knifehaha something tells me those other platforms wont ever get their mag bayonets.

Oh shit now I really wish I was going to SHOT!  Booth #32411 bitches! Lots more info and pictures on the Manly Innovations website.

Some recent derp from the Chicago Tribune:

Close… but not quite guys. ¬†LOL ¬†For the last 10 minutes I’ve been trying to jam a bayonet into that sling mount point, but no luck. ¬†I’m actually surprised they didn’t say the gun would fire knives that were placed there.

At least they didn’t try and say grenades were easy to get, and worse yet talk about 37mm as if they were the same as 40mm launchers.

Wow this sucks for him:

Somehow I doubt ¬†bayonet damage is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Maybe if he paid with a credit card recently though he might be covered?

Those long bayonets are deadly for so many reasons. :P

Any of you ever have a funny gun accident that ended up costing you money?

This is just too awesome:

I have to say FPSRussia really grew on me over the past little while.   You obviously have to have a sense of humor when it comes to gun safety when watching vids like this though.

They really go to town with the Deagle in the vid. hahah

Laredo TX – Acting on a tip, police pulled over a truck on Saturday. Inside, they discovered 147 new AK-47 rifles, still in their boxes; 263 high-capacity magazines; 53 bayonets; and 10,000 rounds of ammunition ‚ÄĒ enough for a small army.

The full story (Banana clips and all) – HERE

LOL bayonets!

Reminds me of this video on drive-by bayoneting, which is no doubt an epidemic:

Also, I have a question for those who might know.  Is ammunition that hard to come by in Mexico, that it needs to be smuggled as well?
