bin laden

hahaha, what the hell?  The Lonely Island with a surprisingly catchy banger:

Lonely-Island-Bin-Laden-SongSo good, yet so bad at the same time.

Thoughts?  Is Bin Laden ACTUALLY dead?  You buying that respectful “at sea burial”? Did you spot him at an Arby’s recently?

COMMENT

Could this trailer be any more useless?

The film supposedly chronicles the events that led up to the raid and killing of Osama Bin Laden on May 2, 2011 by SEAL Team Six.

I normally like this type of movie, so I’ll have to see it.

Release Date: Dec 19, 2012

Two of them.. and both look incredibly cheap:

Surprising that two different production companies would come out with a zombie Bin Laden movie?  Nah not really.

The second one defintiely looks more entertaining than the first one… I can’t say i’ll be seeing either of these, but for all the apparent zombie fanatics out there i’m sure they will do well.

NYpost journalist Susannah Cahalan has some super secret 3rd party insider info.

Read the story at the NYpost – HERE

Mike M. alerted me to this story, and at first I didn’t see what the big deal was until he pointed out a number of inconsistencies:

Green lasers – Didn’t they originally have nightvision?  That would have lit it up making it useless.

Flashlights – Same idea as green lasers unless there was some IR filter on them I suppose.

US Navy m855 5.56 Predator ammunition – Mike says the m855 is the “penetrator” not predator.

SEALs missing their targets – The new account of the story makes them seem somewhat incompetent.  Also, is it standard practice to keep your rifle on SEMI when on a kill mission?  I just assumed you want to put maximum lead in the bastard as quickly as possible.

This looks like two possible things to me.  1) Susannah Cahalan is trying to make a name for her self by being the first to get this “REAL” story out there.   2) Former SEAL Team Six commander Chuck Pfarrer is trying to push his new book.    Wouldn’t all that information on the raid still be classified?  I highly doubt the U.S. government would be on board to divulge top secret information in order for a former employee to spice up his new book.

A perfect example of why people that don’t know anything about guns, shouldn’t produce something to do with guns:

Bryan pointed out that the rifle is a Russian AN-94 assault rifle.  Anyone wanna bet they just googled “Assault rifle” and decided this looked the meanest. *facepalm*

Also, maybe I’m the only one that is bothered by this, but I hate that people even give Obama even a shred of credit for Bin Laden’s death.  It really diminishes the accomplishment of the military in my eyes.  Makes about as much sense to me as giving the weather guy credit for a sunny day outside.

The action figure is unsurprisingly Chinese made.  If you want one, they are $130 – HERE

After blasting through the gate with C-4 charges, three SEALs marched up the stairs. Midway up, they saw bin Laden’s twenty-three-year-old son, Khalid, craning his neck around the corner. He then appeared at the top of the staircase with an AK-47. Khalid, who wore a white T-shirt with an overstretched neckline and had short hair and a clipped beard, fired down at the Americans

Definitely worth the read.   How much of a contrast is the vid compared to the highbrow New Yorker? haha I thought some of you would appreciate it.
