YES. A timely vid about it:

Great vid as always from Lucky Gunner.

The coolest part of the video for me was at 8:00 where they test the Bruce Lee squib situation.  That’s a LOT of penetration on that ballistic gel, wow.

E-Blanks has you covered:

So you swap out 5 parts – 1) The magazine 2) Laser recoil module 3) Charging handle 4) Muzzle flasher and you’re good to go.

Looks alright *shrug*.  I don’t know how good the “recoil” is simulated, but they claim it’s excellent.

The one downside to this is it appears to be TOO safe, so you might get made fun of by tru operational badasses who refuse to operate in safe spaces haha.

Taofledermaus takes an extended look at the SHTF novelty:

0:43 – “In the pellet gun community…” LOL I had no idea there were pellet gun communities… I guess it makes sense though.  Some pretty expensive pellet guns out there (olympic and what not)… it isn’t just Walmart stuff I know.

Taofledermaus really is “the people’s gun YouTuber”.

Keanu-WoahHere is PART 1 in case you missed it.  Kinda useless I suppose in the end… still cool though that it somewhat works, even though the accuracy is crap.

Taofledermaus sciences it:

Keanu-WoahHoly, what the?  So muzzle loaded pellets with the nail gun blanks are actually amazing?  Huh.. who knew.

I wonder how long it will be until “Moms Demand Action” on this?

All fake props or blank firing for movies, but still awesome:

I can’t embed the video, so hit up Gizmodo to watch it!

Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood is mostly filled with bored models and stupid-expensive boutiques. But on one grimy, absolutely ignorable corner is the entrance to a cavern stuffed with guns, rockets, cocaine, and riot shields. This is where Hollywood locks and loads.

Very epic.  I like their mounting system too… effective and easily changeable.

No one has ever died or been injured from blanks though right? *eye roll*

Whether you hate on him for his shooting technique, trigger discipline, that dumb looking hat/scarf combo, or the “I’m gifted” t-shirt… I think we can agree he’s a douchebag.

Also, few things piss me off more than when I see someone pulling the trigger so fast and not even counting their rounds and then continue to pull the trigger long after the magazine is empty.

Isn’t it the “props master’s” job to make sure idiotic displays like this don’t take place?
