blood

Joerg Sprave bleeds for his craft:

Joerg-Sprave0:33 – Can you imagine if someone who was implicated in a shooting, used their own blood to “bring the grain out” of their rifle stock or 1911 grips?  All they would need is “infidel”, an anti-government motto, and maybe “I don’t call 911” carved into it, and they’d be the prosecution’s favorite person EVAAAAAhhh.

This is sure to piss off the fudds at the range:

The old guys at my range absolutely shit a brick when I use my human silhouette targets, one of them even told me it was illegal (no lie LOL).  Can you imagine shooting  life like zombie with woman hostage targets that spray blood when you hit them around guys like that?  Their world would implode.

I really have to desire to see my targets bleed, but if I did I would definitely come up with a more cost effective way to do it.

$3 a pack gives you 1-5 shots depending on shot placement.  Likely if you hit it at the bottom of the pack it will all drain out.

I get dirty enough at the range just shooting prone, handling brass, sweating etc… I wouldn’t want to add fake blood into the mix.  That might make the remainder of my evening interesting if I ever got pulled over on the way home for a burnt out tail light or something. :P

Thoughts?

Ten casualties. Ten million casualties. Our understanding of conflicts is often nothing more than a handful of digits, the more precise, the less meaningful. The anchor’s tone remains the same when talking about major wars or isolated outbursts of violence. The horror lays hidden beneath the rigidity of numbers. Figures give us knowledge, not meaning.
We wanted to put a picture on these digits. A shocking, gory picture, like the reality of war. We wanted to give context, like a scale on which we could visualize each conflict next to the others.

Very interesting representation. Really puts things into perspective.

Remember the Banned XBOX 360 Ad Involving ‘Hand’ Guns?

Well someone added muzzle flashes, explosions, and gore:

Really took away its innocence.  haha

This guy sets out to prove whether or not grabbing the slide of an auto pistol in a close quarters gun fight would disable the gun by causing it not to cycle.

It takes four and a half minutes, some sarcasm,  humor, and blood.  And the result? It is proven that you can in fact cause a gun not to cycle by grabbing the slide when a round is fired.

Definitely good to know, because it would sure beat getting shot… I don’t think I’ll be trying this any time soon though. :P
