New York City, NY – James O’Donnell Jr., 39, has been held on $4 million bail since cops arrested him in the East Village in March and tied him to a cache of weapons, including two loaded pistols and more than 300 bullets.

12 were variants of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, 8 were bolt-action rifles from World War II or earlier, 4 were variants of the PK machine gun, and 2 were small semiautomatic pistols.

Laredo TX – Acting on a tip, police pulled over a truck on Saturday. Inside, they discovered 147 new AK-47 rifles, still in their boxes; 263 high-capacity magazines; 53 bayonets; and 10,000 rounds of ammunition — enough for a small army.
