Bear spray, pulling down the robbers pants, giving him kidney shots, and the store owners wife kicking him in the head seemed to work.  Personally i’d rather see robbers dead, but maybe I’m just cold?

I applaud those two.  Stuff like this always worries me when it’s so highly publicized though…. doesn’t anyone worry about retaliation?

Thoughts?

Tug Of War that is:

A good match. Damn that looks exhausting.  I think I remember doing something similar in gym class a long time ago, but the pride stakes were not as high so I don’t remember being that tired.

Pretty standard stuff:

A Kitchener Ontario father is upset that police arrested him at his children’s’ school Wednesday, hauled him down to the station and strip-searched him, all because his four-year-old daughter drew a picture of a gun at school.

Oh but it gets better:

“From a public safety point of view, any child drawing a picture of guns and saying there’s guns in a home would warrant some further conversation with the parents and child,” said Alison Scott, executive director of Family and Children’s Services.

What?  Why?

After he was released, Sansone was asked to sign a paper authorizing a search of his home. He signed, even though he didn’t have to,

OMG…

To top if all off.. the man doesn’t even own any actual firearms.  Only some plastic toy guns.

Very sad that a person’s rights can be trampled on like that.  Oh, but it’s for the sake of the children.

Lucky the world wasn’t so stupid when I was growing up.  All I did at school is draw guns, and every English paper always had to do with crime and guns as well.

In Gatineau Quebec:

The public is questioning why police didn’t use tranquilizers or corral the animals that were already destined for the slaughterhouse when they escaped from a trailer last Thursday.

Full story – HERE

I don’t think tranquilizers were necessary since the cow was being transported to slaughter.  But damn, you’d think they could have used a rifle , or a shotgun slug at least?

Probably the first and last 10 shots that cop will ever take outside of a shooting range.

Like the article says, 1 minute worth of video obviously doesn’t give us an idea of the context, but it still looks plenty DERPy.

As the description says: “When a firefight breaks out and an outpost is under fire the choice between rounds down range or uniforms isn’t a hard choice.”

Is that a Canadian thing? Or has the U.S. military occasionally been known to slay taliban in gym shorts and flip-flops too?
