Good Guy With A Gun Cartoons

FreedomToons made up a couple sarcastic videos to mock anti-gunners:

I wasn’t expecting these videos to have many views, but holy the FreedomToons channel has 215,000 subscribers, and their videos all have a ton of comments.

They are doing better than I expected on Pateron (659 patrons)… not bad but that’s nothing compared to what Forgotten Weapons has…. 7708 patrons!  At a minimum of $1 per month per patron, that’s a decent 💰.  There are very few others in the gun world that work as hard as Ian when it comes to quality informative gun related videos.  I once said to Ian “I never see you at the club”, and he shot back at me with “I never see you at the bank”… COLD.  Just kidding that interaction never happened… I just read it in one of those dumb moto posts on Instagram today and it stuck in my head.

Related note, my ultimate favorite gun related cartoon was Conrad The Constitution.  Sadly those guys haven’t made a video in 2+ years now, since they announced they ran out of time and money to dedicate to it.

Half Cocked – Season Who Cares Episodes Who Cares

This is the official last post I do about this unless it starts being related to guns at some point:

I thought PWS was a firearms company, not a productions company that produced shitty cartoon soap operas.

PWS-Half-Cocked-Cartoon-LogoIf you like throwing 6.5 minutes of your life away watch the video.  Otherwise take my word for it and spend that 3 minutes writing PWS an email asking them “WHY?”.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this cartoon is a complete waste of time.  I have seen glowing comments on other blogs about it though. *shrug*

Conrad The Constitution – S03E01

SWEET, Conrad is back!

After the real life secret service visit the creators got after the end of last season I wasn’t sure there was going to be a season 3.  This show absolutely cracks me up.

A Thirst For Blood And Too Many Guns

Cyanide & Happiness with an “I wish a MFer would” type scenario:

Let me start off by saying every time I see a video with vector type graphics like this I immediately am like “OOHHHHH this will look awesome on my TV in 1080p”, and then I stop the fireplace screensaver I usually have on at night and put the video up.  Secondly, a couple of the people who emailed me this speculated that it was maybe subtly attacking gun owners.  In my opinion it’s just Cyanide & Happiness doing what they do best, and just exaggerating everything to get laughs.  I’ve been wrong once or twice though.  I’d have to say the part that I did cringe over though was actually something I missed the first time I watched the video because it’s after the initial credits come on (I stopped there the first time).  When I was writing the post it was up on my other screen and I saw him sucking on the shotgun… yea I didn’t care for that, but again likely just done to get a rise out of us.

Cyanide-And-Happiness-Shotgun-MouthThoughts?  Funny, or not funny?  Tactical mullet not funny because it’s true? :P

The ATF comic they did a while back reminds me of the ARES armor thing that’s going on right now.

Half Cocked – S0E03

If you’re looking for a cartoon about guns, move along… move along…

I thought PWS was a firearms company and this was supposed to be a firearm related cartoon?  I’ve criticized every episode so far for basically the same reason, they have all sucked.  The story line that is… the animation is definitely nice, but who really cares when the story is the worst?  I was really optimistic at first.

Conrad The Constitution’s Creators Get Secret Service Visit

Remember the final “Obama Assassination” episode of Season two?

The secret service wanted to have a chat about it:

Oh Alex Jones.  Basically the secret service visit was a non-event… but scary nonetheless.  Too bad the secret service didn’t show up at Tim’s house and demand to speak to Conrad.  Funnier yet would be if when they were leaving, Tim said something in the Conrad voice LOL.
