Sheriff Shayne Heap of Elbert County Colorado:

Well spoken guy.  I can’t say I disagree with anything he says.

Yep.

V-Neck by ENDO Apparel…. is something I’ll never say.  MrColionNoir can pull it off. Me though? As white guy in my early 30s I find it too drafty, and it elevates my hipster look to dangerous levels. Besides, I knew about v-necks before they were cool. Lately I’ve been going full Trinidad James with the gold chains, so a shirt isn’t even considered. Shout out to them freshmen, on instagram strait flexin. Pop a Glock and I’m sweatin’ *Whoo* Pop a Glock and I’m sweatin’ *Whoo*.

Colorado State Senator Jessie Ulibarri solves the problem:

High-Capacity-Ballpoint-Pen

My only question is, are high capacity ballpoint pens allowed?  You know, those rotating ones with the different colors (pictured above)?  Is there a limit on the number of pens that can go into the chamber? What about tactical pens?  Can they have pocket clips on them?  I’ve got so many more questions….

It’s just safer if everyone has pens… no “crossfire” of random irresponsible people shooting at the shooter. *eye roll*

Thoughts?

Heartbreaking to see young men wounded so severely while serving our country.

Angel Barcenas and William Gibson of the Marines wish each other good luck prior to their 1,500 Meter run during the 2010 Warrior Games for wounded soldiers on Friday 05/14/10 at U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

More info on this year’s event – HERE

This was the first year that the games were held, but as the article above says, they are already planning on holding it again next year.

I’m glad to see these guys aren’t letting their injuries ruin their competitive spirit, camaraderie,  and zest for life.

Pretty interesting to see in some of the pictures, how far prosthetic limb technology has come.
