This is mind blowing.  I’m happy to see at least everyone isn’t bowing to the standard “guns are evil PERIOD”:

Appleseed volunteers and Revolutionary War re-enactors are leading the intensive course, which is one of nine different options at Craver. The instructors brought real guns into the classroom Monday and Tuesday before heading to the range to show how things worked in the 1700’s.

The course is a week long even!  That’s really awesome.

helicopter-sharpshooter-sniperAlright so obviously this guy did not give two shits he was being chased by the police, nor did he have any concern for the safety of others.  I don’t understand why they didn’t take a shot from the helicopter, just do the world a favor and kill him early on?  Sure that particular helicopter may not have had someone riding shotgun to do that, but when a chase goes on for that long and is that dangerous why didn’t they send another helicopter with a sharpshooter to take care of it?  People shoot wild hogs from the air with ease and they are quick… I don’t see how shooting this guy would have been any harder considering all the chances they had.  I know some of you are going to say “BUT MIKE HE HAS THE RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL.  6th Amendment bRo, look it up”.  Sure, but doesn’t the right to live your life without the worry of being killed by a criminal scumbag trump the right he has to a trial?

Don’t believe me? Just watch:

Yep.

V-Neck by ENDO Apparel…. is something I’ll never say.  MrColionNoir can pull it off. Me though? As white guy in my early 30s I find it too drafty, and it elevates my hipster look to dangerous levels. Besides, I knew about v-necks before they were cool. Lately I’ve been going full Trinidad James with the gold chains, so a shirt isn’t even considered. Shout out to them freshmen, on instagram strait flexin. Pop a Glock and I’m sweatin’ *Whoo* Pop a Glock and I’m sweatin’ *Whoo*.

With a song even:

The list in question:

  1. Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself.
  2. Your instinct may be to scream, go ahead!  It may startle your attacker and give you an opportunity to run away.
  3. Kick off your shoes if you have time and can’t run in them.
  4. Don’t take time to look back; just get away.
  5. If your life is in danger, passive resistance may be your best defense.
  6. Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating.
  7. Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone.
  8. Yelling, hitting or biting may give you a chance to escape, do it!
  9. Understand that some actions on your part might lead to more harm.
  10. Remember, every emergency situation is different.  Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.

ENDO rape prevention list:

  1. Shoot rapist.

Keep Calm And Carry One T-Shirt

Girls please just Keep Calm And Carry One, that’s the best measure.  I actually really don’t see why there was such a big deal made about the original list, besides the fact that rape is understandably a touchy subject.  As far as I can tell, the point of the list was basically “get away, or try and stop it by grossing your attacker out.”  I remember hearing tips like that for years and although I don’t pretend to know the dynamics of that type of situation, it seems to me like a woman’s options are quite limited if they are not armed.
